I started keto kinda by accident…loved scrambled eggs and avocados….was ill and couldn’t really cook anymore. That’s pretty much all I ate for about a year. I started to feel better. Then, the universe led me to Dr. Eric Berg. Since then I’ve learned enough to heal my body and now can cook again. Enjoy your videos and appreciate you girls very much.❤️🐝

My husband didn’t start the Keto journey with me but when he saw my success he started ordering his burger without a bun but he still eats a few fries. I shared your journey and that you call your version dirty or lazy Keto so now he tell people he is dirty Keto! He has lost weight just by cutting down his carb intake. If you think you can’t do it just start by cutting out a few carbs and sugar! You will lose weight and that encourages you to do more. Keep it simple is great advice and it is easy to do eating out too! Loved the Q&A and love your channel. Keep up the great job!

Thanks for the story about resisting non keto foods in the home (Friday etc). I recently started to make sure that I always had two packs of bacon cooked and ready to go in the fridge. Now I just put a few slices in the microwave for 30 seconds and have a perfect salty crispy snack any time of day. I can’t tell you how satisfying it is to no longer be tempted at all by my sister’s big huge box of assorted chips. Yay!!!

Sometimes I slip up. When I do, the very next meal (per your advice) is meat, low carb veg, salt and butter. It slams me back on the wagon, I don't get angry at myself anymore and I lose the weight. I have lost 65# and have another 65# to go. Now I don't feel like I'm struggling. I use new recipes if they fit into my budget and my program, but I don't make myself crazy looking for them. I was glad to see the LMNT packs since I've been using an electrolyte first thing in the morning along with my coffee & MCT. My husband does the cooking, and makes me Keto. If he wants something else, he'll make that too. I'm a lucky girl.

I totally agree that in starting a ketogenic lifestyle you should keep it as simple as possible. I found this very easy because I love salads. So...I usually had a big salad, either with protein in the salad, or on the side with a lot of veggies in the salad. "KISS" indeed. I also found it easier to make more than I needed and reheat food for another meal. It is just as easy to make several chicken pieces, burgers, chops, etc as it is to make one or two. And a salad with a protein based casserole (such as cheeseburger or pizza casserole) is an easy fix that will also please the rest of the family.

Hah - I'm 6' (down from 6'1" now with age). Didn't do the before & after photos (down 77# since 2/21) but there are plenty of cringe worthy pics floating around. FYI, hubby has been trying some of my recipes & he likes them! He still eats his ice cream & Lays potato chips & white bread... I really want to thank you for saying that you are on this program as a lifestyle. It made me think about my long term goals & I decided to change my mindset & this program has been so much easier & I'm so much more relaxed! Anyway - THANKS!!

Great job with this one. Great advice for people starting out - I'm 68 and began my journey 3 years ago after being obese and morbidly obese for most of my life. I also lost 80 lbs in about 8 months and then it stopped. But i'm also a t2 diabetic - off all of my meds and now considered pre-diabetic. I feel better than when I was in my 40's-50's . Keto also helps with intermittent fasting because the high fat helps your body burn fat and you are not as hungry. And I have to say you two are a great example of the best of being twins! Individuals but one - I love how you finish each others sentences!! Thank you both for your great content.

Thanks for another great video. My husband and I are both low carb eaters. Mine motivation is to keep the inflammation as low as possible and carbs cause me a lot of joint pain. Plus I have been large my whole adult life (40 years) so it is a big adjustment. The holidays are hard because of all the temptations and a lot of our traditions involve food. I work really hard to make keto versions to help.

Wow, I can't believe how tall you guys are! You stated a goal of 150 which is mine, however I am only 5'6"! You guys would be like Twiggy the model if you even know who she is! lol That said, I have lost 51.5 pounds so far, and need to go another 34.5 to get there! You guys look fantastic and are an encouragement to all of us out here that are making Keto a lifestyle because we feel there is no other way to go. I am 60 and this is the first diet that has made me feel this good without excessive hunger between meals. I see no reason to stop. It does get frustrating when the scale gets stuck for a few weeks but it is good to know that this is normal the longer you are on Keto and the closer to goal you get! I also appreciate the philosophy on your husbands' part time keto. I tend to harp too much with mine and it does no good! I like that you refuse to prepare stuff for them that is not healthy or non-Keto (pizza) for that would be enabling. Thanks for all you do!

Thanks for posting the Q&A video. I watched it as I was eating a bowl of tomato soup (the Rao, heavy cream and chicken broth version). And thanks for all of your content. It's so relatable. I'm doing keto, but not shaming myself about it if I'm not strict or if I don't do it "perfectly." I have a much healthier attitude about this journey and you really reinforce a lot of what I'm thinking. As a result, I feel good and I'm enjoying myself. One more thing...Sarah! I went to a middle part because you tried it a few weeks back. You went back to your side part. I loved the middle part! Don't give up on a new look (not that you need to change anything). Cheers to many more multiples of 50k subscribers!

I am the same height as you, 5 10” or 11” depending on who is measuring. I don’t feel so alone. I started this journey not to lose weight. I was fine with being overweight but my body wasn’t. I just lost 50 lbs and have about 20 more to go because of my A1C of 12! It is now down to 6.4 and probably lower. Need to get tested again. So my journey was motivated by my health. I really didn’t have a choice. So no sugar, no breads, pastas, potatoes (only sweet potatoes in moderation). I have no cravings for any of it either. Once in a while I’ll have a keto mug cake but almonds and jerky has been a staple of mine. I love watching you two. So my question is, do your husbands ever have an issue with the amount of time you spend together, either in person or via FaceTime?

Yall keep me so motivated, how is it possible that you don’t have a million trillion subs??!! I’m thrilled to say I am down 38!! In the beginning (4 months ago) I was mortified that I hadn’t lost more, and I was constantly thinking I had screwed up horribly, but y’all kept me steady and answered questions (many times without me even asking, I would click on your prior vids and just find my answers, laughing all the while-just sayin…). God bless you for living with non-keto people and still being able to stick to the diet. I'm not that fortunate. When I first started eating this way, I lived alone but I don't now. My roommate is definitely not keto and at least once a month brings home literally pounds of sweets. My willpower is limited and I hold out as long as I can, hoping she eats them, but she rarely touches them until after I opened them. Sometimes I think she is deliberately sabotaging me. I have to keep that sort of thing at arms length because I will binge, but it gets shoved in my face (sometimes literally) on a regular basis. It takes me days, sometimes up to a week, to restore the balance inside my body after I've went off the rails like that. On the plus side, it's helped me to learn a bit more about myself, my needs, and my limitations.

Thank you for all your advice. I just now came to find your videos and watch you almost all day. Love your advice and the simple things I get from them. ❤ it’s hard because I try to not eat as often but just starting 1 month in and it’s like I’m always hungry still! So I’m fasting for like 12 to 16 hours depending on the day.

Another interesting video. You never disappoint! I have friends who aren’t on keto but watch you anyway because they enjoy you so much. I use LMNT and love it and stay a little cleaner keto during week. Technically keto on weekends and got the sweatshirt too😌. Keep doing what you’re doing

I love how you each finish there others sentences. It's hysterical. I wish I could stay keto but because of CKD I can't. But I am very low carb. I just have to be low protein and low fat as well. But low carb, I use many of your recipes. Thanks for adjusting the chaffle recipe. It's lower protein than many are, and that's good for me

Lol actually as the baby sister of twins, 9 years younger, I get it. As the sister of twins I was always asked, "what's it like having twin sisters?" My answer was "what's it like not being the sister of twins?" LOL My is do you have other siblings? You really should have more subscribers. I know it will happen. Take care!!

Best point; keep it simple, do not compare - information overload is a killer. It’s all for you, put a nay-sayer filter on. It really does work and you will learn along the way. If you publish too much, it becomes too much. Agree with, why you do not have 100-250,000 subscriptions is hard to believe.

Your videos are always informative and fun and chill. Not tracking has helped me. I was on WW for years and obsessed about my points and would gain it all back as soon as I stopped tracking. It is freeing. As of today I have lost 60 lbs went from a size 3x to an xl in clothes. Started Keto in July '21. The most helpful staples so far have been Costco rotisserie chicken and low carb frozen dinners that I add more protein (chicken) and fresh veggies. I am able to stay under 20 carbs a day on most days. There are more and more low carb meals (Healthy Choice, Lean Cuisine and Atkins) popping up in Walmart all the time. I do have a question...How many LMNT packs a day do use use on average. I got the sample pack using your link. I love them.⭐⭐
