As a TV manufacturer who's relentless in its strive towards accuracy for both movies and games, Panasonic has launched its full 2024 OLED TV lineup, with new models Z90A, Z85A & Z80A adding to the Z95A & Z93A previously unveiled at CES earlier this year.
The "Includes Paid Promotion" message in this video refers to the sponsorship by British AV retailer Richer Sounds. If you're interested in getting a new TV, even if it's not a Panasonic OLED, please support this channel by considering buying from them. Visit your local Richer Sounds store to get the best deals through cheaper 'VIP exclusive' in-store only prices, or call telesales for your next TV purchase on 0333 900 0093. Panasonic and Sony are renowned for their exceptional panel optimizations, showcasing the significant impact of stringent quality control measures on panel performance. For instance, the Sony A95L outperforms the Samsung S95C, emphasizing the pivotal role of quality control in maximizing panel performance.

A95L vs S95C price 55" 2500€ vs 1500€ 65" 3000€ vs 2000€ 77" 5000€ vs 3000€ Yes a Mercedes is better than a Hyundai but is it worth the added cost? For some yes for others not. I'm sure Samsung and LG are capable of matching the Japanese if they wanted but chose not to and provide a different customer. If I chose a 77S95C for my living room I could almost buy a 55A95L for my bedroom from the money I saved 🤷‍♂ (F*ck I just sold myself on an upgrade 🙄)

@techsamurai11
@techsamurai11 3 ай бұрын
It's not - for gaming, the C3, G3, and C4 has a very dim game mode. The G4 is ok as they fixed it but the others are unusable. Also pause any game with a LG and Sony side-by-side with text or decals and you can't buy the LG. Go see Classy's video of the A80K and C3 and look for my timestamps in the comments. Every year I hope LG will catch up and every year it's the same thing. Imagine playing Diablo 4 and checking the tiny text on a LG - now that's a real nightmare 🙂

Hopefully Panasonic won't force sharpening onto the user unlike Sony and LG! Sony does it for years, LG does it 2024 and if Panasonic would do it too, there would be no TV left to buy.

That can't truly be fixed unless they go back to a slower pixel response time which would be bad for high refresh rate content. Your only real option is to use some level of motion interpolation.

Man Panasonic is so behind the times they cant even make a 77 inch flagship tv, maybe they think its 2008 when 65 inch was considred massive.

Automatic Brightness Limiter is the one technology that creates the most accurate picture quality. It changes brightness, contrast and saturation from 1000 nits down to 200 nits, for blistering visuals and pristine accuracy. It automatically changes the brightness so you get the most out of the picture. When brightness gets down to 200 nits you will see the most accurate picture quality. This will cost only $3000, just to see 200 nits graphics never seen before. MLA is the next generation technology to provide 200 nits of pure bliss pictue quality. This technology also comes at a cost, you need to buy the TV again after 1 year to regain the full picture quality. These amazing TVs degrade picture quality over time so you need a $3000 yearly subscription to see again the 200 nits of blistering visuals. If you bought a TV and you use it at 100 brightness and 100 contrast then you got scammed. If you need a TV maxed out to enjoy a TV then you made a bad decision. When you buy speakers or headphones you don't need to use them at full volume to enjoy them. You shouldn't do it with TVs either. OLED is a very limited technology than can do only 200-300 nits. Stop buying $3000 TVs just to get 300 nits. Stop being scammed.

Yes, but they can’t say this because they want to be promoted right? MLA tech has raised blacks and looks very bad in direct sunlight. Like very bad.. sound is poor to and modern panels upscale older content very poorly. I returned my MZ2000 because it’s a downgrade compared the 2 year older jz2000. I don’t think I’ll ever buy a premium tv ever again

Luckily we don't need 200 nits. 100 is more than enough. Calibrated it's probably less.

Why is it still so expensive? If high-end OLED PC monitors are selling for the same price or even less than Mini LED equivalents, why aren't we seeing a commensurate price drop in TVs? Especially as OLED is basically mainstream. This shit is too expensive. It's just propped up by bullshit marketing and grown men tweaking their nipples while they moan "inky blacks."

1. You get what you pay for. 2. SOME weaker OLED TV's can be purchased for under $700 like the LG A series OLED TV models.
