Filmaker mod just makes the image far too warm and look awful and unnatural to my eyes. Plus when i've been to the cinema and watched movies and then watched the same movies on my tv filmmaker mode does NOT make it look like it did in the cinema.

one thing i disagree is motion smoothing, i despise the ghosting effect all movies have with low fps when the camera moves fast, it looks so bad, i rather watch soap opera than blurry ghosted movie

thats why everything looked so grainy, i wondered why, who even thought this feature was good to add to TV/monitors

Got a A80L 55inch on 30th April 2024. Loving it so far. Yes, might not get a bright as other TVs but used the colour adjustment settings as used on my A80H and it seems to be really working well. Getting the stands set up is way easier than the A95L, they just slot in. Giving my A80H to my partner, just gotta find a way of getting it to her as I don't drive

When playing 4k HDR@60hz games on XBX with YCC 4:2:2 turned off, it displays at 4:2:0 10 bit. When I enable 4:2:2 it then displays at 4:2:2 12 bit. My TV is a Samsung S89C running through a Yamaha Aventage A6A with AudioQuest Ocean cables(48Gbps). Under video fidelity options(XBX)I have it set at 10 bit color depth. Question is: why when I uncheck allow 4:2:2 does it run at 4:2:0 and not 4:4:4? Secondly, when allow 4:2:2 is enabled it runs at 4:2:2 12 bit. My panel can’t run 12 bit content that I know of and I have color depth set to 10 bit anyway. Makes no sense to me. How can I run my games at 4:4:4 10 bit? Thanks! EDIT: When I run it @120hz I get 4:4:4 10 bit. Should I notice an increase in picture quality, because I don’t see any. Still puzzled I can’t run 4:4:4 10 bit@60hz.

for average home use? nah Sony with crystal panels will be more suitable. for commercial huge monitor display (theather, stadium, etc) mico-LED is more suitable. I honestly think that MicroLED is a competition to the current LedGridPanel used for those such big giant bilboard. that is now using Led with the grid the size of p2.5, p4, p5 etc. microLED is alot similar to those but with higher density of LED Array.

Are Mini LED TV's good if you have a bright room???
