this. ofc nobody is safe from mental illness, whether you’re an average joe or a popstar sensation. but it makes a HELL of a difference having access to/being able to afford the best of the best resources to help you in the palm of your hand, AND on top of that having an incredibly supportive family. all that money and influence doesn’t necessarily promise you a cure, but it gives you a lot more to appreciate in your life when you have it way better than others who are also in your shoes but don’t have the status, power, or even the love and support from their own families that you may have. i’m sure she knows this too & is why she can go through what she goes through and still come out alive, safe, very protected, still wealthy, and healthy. i’m very happy for her that she is able to have the overwhelming support that she does, because no one deserves to suffer/struggle alone even if you’re a celebrity. but not many can say that on our side of the fence. consistent support from your community is such a crucial role in one’s wellbeing/healing process that so many in the western society tend to overlook/underestimate. and as an indigenous to the marianas, that is what a real wealthy/rich lifestyle looks like to me. unconditional love and support from the people you love that youre surrounded by everyday.

That's the part people are seemingly forgetting..

She isn't the reason... Ethan is. He left HIS baby. Ariana didn't leave any babies behind. You can't help who you love. And with that being said, everyone makes mistakes. Everyone has been a person whose hurt someone else, intentionally or not. And everyone has been hurt too. That's why this album is so beautifully. Shes admitting that she's not perfect. And in the midst of accepting her imperfections, she's also realizing that it's ok to be imperfect... because we're human beings.
