Fantastic vid as always also i'd like to add some more stuff for Ryuen since you might have based his part off of an over 1 year old outdated analysis I made😵 one of the most impressive things about Ryuen is how fast he's able to comprehend new environments whilst being able to come up with plans in excessively short amount of time to not only gather info but to also maximize the chances of achieving his goals Ryuen was the first person in the school to actually develop strategies to test the system and gather as much info as possible. By fabricating Sudo's incident, he was able to understand that this school encourages students to strategize against each other, he was also able to further understand Class B and D. In Ryuen's eyes class D was scrambling to get anything done before Ichinose stepped in herself The info he gathered here also played a big role in the island exam, as he used Kaneda, who was stated to be the second most competent/cunning member in Ryuen's class to spy in class B, and he was able to get him in there pretty easily thanks to the welcoming nature of class B. For class D, he used Ibuki, this is because although less competent than class B, class D was still very wary around class C due to the Sudo trial. And so Ryuen used a girl who can effectively act like she despises Ryuen's methods. another thing about the island exam, Ryuen didnt actually get help from Hashimoto in the light novel, the guy didnt even exist in the volume and was an anime only thing. Ryuen had to use actual reasoning inferred through his observation of the relationship within class A to infer that Yahiko was the keycard holder. there are actually more stuff going on behind Ryuen's strategy in the island exam btw 😭 Ryuen formulated the entire strategy within the first couple of minutes after the explanation of the rules. This is because how quickly he was able to approach Katsuragi and make the deal with him. By the time Suzune and Ayanokoj was introduced to Ryuen, his plan was already in motion. The strategy Ryuen came up with can also adapt to many situations. We can infer Ryuen's best win scenario already, so i'll spare you the details. In case Katsuragi doesn't accept Ryuen's offer, Ryuen still has that 200 points to work with, and we can see that class B can make due for the entire exam just withing 100 points, so Ryuen can easily pass with the 200 on top of sabotaging the other classes for points. alright i'll end it here, there is still so much more to discuss about the island exam and Ryuen's feats in general. I'll explain some more if need be.

I believe Ryuuen will and should win, since he is no genius (atleast genes wise) and is the complete opposite of everything Arisu stands for. A genius losing to a non genius. It would be insane, though I’m worried since Ryuuen has had his peaks but so did Arisu… in the end I believe Ayanokouji would interfere at the last second since they are still needed. Ryuuen with his 20 million plan and Arisu with the entire Hashimoto thingy going on.

I'm curious to know if you are fully up-to-date on all of the volumes and if so, do you have a theory about how the Arisu/Ryuen show down will play out?

Honestly, Arisu VS Ryuen is the most unexpected thing to happen in 2024. My favorite character in Classroom of the Elite is Ryuen but, I feel like he might lose. Through the course of the series, Ryuen has made the series very enjoyable for me. However, usually when Kinu is going to expel a student he makes them reach their peak before they get expelled. That’s why I’m concerned for Ryuen VS Arisu. Putting Ryuen aside, Arisu has also had her moments in the story. Arisu in the beginning was seen to be as a genius and still is. But, I also feel like most people overestimate Arisu. Arisu is a complex character, you can’t really know what she’s thinking. Kinu has done a great job on writing both Ryuen and Arisu. But, there can also be some hope in Ryuen winning the bet. If Ryuen loses the bet, we’ll never see him again. But, if Arisu loses the bet we may see her again in the story considering how she’s related to the chairman. After the bet, Ayanokoji may transfer to either class C or class A. I’m hoping Ayanokoji doesn’t interfere with the bet between Ryuen and Arisu because I’m excited to know which one will win or lose. Anyways, thank you for reading my long comment.

I say it’s 80/20 to Sakayanagi’s favor against Ryūen, It’s precisely because the dialog between Ayano and Hiyori after Special exam on year 2 volume 10, their chat was about future and characteristic about class and It was a great indicator that something will happen. Also there is still Sakayanagi and Hashimoto’s conflict about Kamuro’s drop out which I don’t think will be forsaken piece of story. And lastly Ryuen and Sakayanagi’s motives for Ayano are quite different, while arisu wishes for fair and big match Ryuen simply wants destroy and crush Ayano like hell he could. I have been reading this LN series for more than +300 hours now and there will be no one that will beat Ayanokōji. It would be too pointless and meaningless that Ryuen’s wins that great battle just to lose later on to Ayanokōji. I am sorry guys but it will be Ryūen who will be going down

Ryuen's my second favourite character in COTE, and frankly, i believe he brings more to the story than arisu, especially now. So I hope he wins. He's simply a goat.

My bet is on Ryuuen. Not only because he's my favourite character, even though we can't remove bias, and also not because it would serve as a more interesting plot development. But because Ryuuen has shown adaptation and evolution. He's much more adaptive than Arisu, given his out of the box thinking and so on, but the big thing why I'm staking it on his victory is his ability to adapt. I also think that this showdown is a perfect example of the stories whole point which is nature vs nurture. Arisu being nature, while Ryuuen being nurture respectivelly.
