Thanks! I think DCHL paused when the new rules came out. They've done a couple since then, but haven't gone back to redo the rest of their older ones. These videos are tough to do well, because you really need to play the army for a while before you have enough experience to say things that are actually true. We definitely plan to do more. It takes us a couple months for each of these, because of all the play testing required, but we have three more in this series that we're working on right now, and the next one should be ready in another month or so

Thanks for the feedback RogueKloral. We haven't done traditional battle reports because so many others seem to be doing that (many of them are very well produced), and we'd rather focus on doing things that others are not doing. We'll think about it more. Thanks again for the comment!

Great question. That's what the bows are for. Dump all the arrows into the casters and don't worry about the infantry. Use the archery to reduce the greatest threat against you: if magic, then start there! Hope that helps!

The video talks about how we'd recommend building this list, but at 810 pts., I'd start the way the video explains: with Fimbul and Bolg loaded, each leading two warg riders, a fell warg, and a bunch of hunters. Then ally in Azog leading ~6 berzerkers and a gundabad orc with a banner, and the lingering shadow for all of his sneaky trickienss. If you want to mix it up then you could add a spider or two from Dul Goldur just for fun. Hope that helps! I know it's not a specific list, but honestly, whether I would take more berzerkers or more hunter orcs would depend on the folks I expect to see at the event and on what armies they like to play, and you know your local meta better than we will, but if I had no idea what to expect, I would lean towards bringing more bows (hunter orcs).

Thanks for the comment @Donkeykong0303, and so sorry for the extremely late response. That list could definitely work, and would be a major threat from a competitive standpoint. Bolg and an Ogre are roughly the same point value as Azog, and having them as multiple threats is nice, but I tend to find the Ogres die rather easily given how large their bases are, and I would say the Gundabad berserkers accomplish the task just fine enough on there own. It's also worth noting that Azog's 12" hero affecting stand fast comes in really handy when the army breaks, so thats another reason I generally lean towards him over Bolg. The goblin mercenaries aren't something I mention in this video, as they don't play to the strengths of the faction, but they can be helpful - particularly for Reconnoitre. The War Bats are a solid include, and the only reason I don't mention them is because as of the filming of this video there was no official model so they weren't playable, but having at least one is very good idea at 800pts. Overall its a solid list, not something I would personally play for the aforementioned reasons, but should serve you well in most scenarios. Cheers mate, and again sorry for the late response.

Yes. Whenever you run Bolg his might is far too valuable to spend on marches. Azog however, as said in the video is a different story since he has 6 + master of battle if from legion. Thx for commenting!

If your worried about courage then as stated in the video, allies are your friend and a warhorn is a necessity. My 750 in a good vs. Evil would be: Azog loaded, allied in from the legion (armour, Stoneflail, White Warg) - 245 - 6 berserkers - 1 gundabad orc (banner and shield) Fimbul (warg) - 60 - 5 hunter orcs - 4 archers - 1 mounted hunter orc - 1 mounted archer - 1 fell warg Narzug or Yazneg loaded up to 60 pts - 5 hunter orcs - 4 archers - 1 archer with war horn - 1 mounted archer - 1 fell warg This list should give you mission versatility while mainting the bow count and keeping your might high. In the video we talked about when to ally in the lingering shadow: in this case I would go for a second named hunter orc over a Nazgul only b/c Galadriel would banish him easily. The third mounted hunter orc is simply a way to spend points and give even more versatility.

Azog evens up those odds. The whole strategy revolves around mass bowfire thinning and distracting while Azog goes hunting for heroes (and everything in the way!)

Hey Gabi, thanks for the comment! That list honestly looks very similar to what I play at that point value, so I like it! The one change I'd make is drop one of the war bats so you can mount 2 of the Hunter orcs on Fell wargs and purchase a single Gundabad orc warrior in Bolg's warband. It doesn't sound like a big change but the extra knock down bonuses from the cavalry are really nice, and great for threatening your opponents flanks. Also, I would then give the Gundabad orc in Bolg's warband the banner instead of one of your hunter orcs. That gives it D6, which makes it much harder to kill, and also puts it behind the hero that can use it most. Cheers, and happy gaming!
