The only regret I have from this trip was that I did not have more time to get off the bike and actually take photos or videos. I can assure you, despite the lack of amazing images on the screen, this trip was beautiful on a whole different level... I was simply unable to capture it while riding.
This trip was from March 29th to the 31st.
If you find these videos helpful, feel free to buy me a coffee. It helps me make more videos.

2 wheels + camera = heaven. The Burgman 650 Ex is a beautiful beast. Keep us updated! Cheers Skyler 👍

Ken's vehicle is a beauty ! Transitions are a bit abrupt, but I love the montage you realized, the structure isn't obvious but it works. I just wish you'd have taken more pictures ;)

Yeah, editing was frustrating due to a lack of content to really create an effective narrative. Oh well, great memories all the same.

Motorcycles are the reason I started in photography, just wanted to share all the beautiful places I saw

A motorcycle and a camera are just about the perfect combination. Many of the places I go and the photos I take are via motorcycle, even if I don't specifically mention it. I definitely want to take this trip again, solo, just so I can slow down and photograph more of it.

I had a feeling you would record this trip. This is really neat.

I wish I had a camera strapped to my helmet for the entire trip. The things I saw (and was unable to record) were absolutely gorgeous.

Man, I miss being on two wheels. Got rid of my bike a few years ago. I'd be happy with a maxi-scooter now, might even prefer it. As long as it could go fast enough not to get run over on SW Texas highways. LOL. Looks like a great trip. Then again, most on two-wheels are. Even when it rains. Ah, well. I do have a Jeep Gladiator that has some years left to pay for. So, I'll be grateful for what I do have. But, not ruling out getting in the wind again. Keep enjoying life.

I grew up around motorcycles. Harley's mostly. I was the odd man out because I rode a Honda VTX1800r across the US and around town while my dad and grandpa rode Big Harley baggers and even my grandma rode a sportster. I had zero respect for scooters. I would have never been caught dead on one. Now? I love them. They are unbelievably fun, convenient, and surprisingly capable. My daily driver is a Burgman 200 and I think of it as an "85/85" machine - I typically get about 85mpg and I can reliably hit 85mph even when loaded down. I have got my eye on a Burgman 650 Executive, though. You should take a peek at them. Maybe you'll find yourself back on two wheels, some day.

My last bike was a 93 Harley Electraglide Sport I bought from a friend. Yeah. I understand why another rider said, "I had a Harley. ONCE." LOL. I should have stuck with Honda. The HD was like a trophy wife. Always wanting your time and money. Me? I'd much rather ride than wrench. I'll check out the Burgman. I wish Honda still made or sold the 650 scooter here in the U.S. That had mileage, storage, and speed. Hopefully, I'll manage two wheels again before I'm too run down to ride. Just turned 67, but going carnivore some months ago we've gotten in much better shape.

@11:47 Man, you're on the flyover, you should have gone straight, then done a U-turn before the gas stn; how can anyone miss eating at 萬巒豬腳? I always so look forward to that! Plus, you can ride fully south now and there is a beach road that will join up with the road you're taking through the mountains. Where is it again? Ah, yes, you can keep going down all the way to 鵝鑾鼻、滿洲 then 旭海, then use the 199 back onto 9戊. Previously we were unable to properly go around all the island because of the road not being open on the last section there. But it's all good now. I also sling my camera off my shoulder when riding - but sometimes would prefer it had left hand buttons, cause you know, to take a picture I gotta freewheel!

I was just following the guy in front of me! -lol- I'm definitely going to take another trip in the near future. Next time, I will likely go by myself and give myself more than just three days. I definitely want to be able to stop more often, see more of the places, try some different restaurants/food stands, take better photos, etc. I didn't know that the roads connected directly, now. Thanks for the heads up, that will definitely be easier.

What are those stones between the water and the road at about 12:40? Is that just a breakwater?

I understand theres a language barrier between you and the culture but if I were them, I would engage you more so that you wont feel left out of all the conversation and there wont be awkward moments. Besides, US has befriended Taiwan more than other countries. Why wouldnt Taiwanese people feel more friendly towards non-mandarin speaking US friends.

We actually spoke quite a bit, off camera. Only two of them speak English (Ken and Tino) so they tried to speak English to me whenever they could both to practice and for the video. The other three guys don't speak English, so we spoke Mandarin (good practice for me). Taiwanese people are very friendly and very happy to engage in conversation with anyone, even complete strangers.

@@SkylerKing oh my bad then. maybe they are friendly towards white Americans. cuz I'm speaking from experience. Me and my friends (all dark asian) went on a trip there and what we had was cold treatment from them. Even the janitor disturbed my friends while in the toilet. There were few communicable folks and young people though but to compare the overall, our trip was not very pleasant.

Wow, that is the first time I have ever heard of anyone having a bad experience in Taiwan. The very few times I have ever seen a Taiwanese person not be outright friendly to a foreigner is in cases where a foreigner is causing a lot of trouble and the locals are getting annoyed. But, that is typically a white guy causing the trouble. A few friends visiting over the weekend, one from Singapore and the other is a black American. Everyone was very friendly to them. When I have worked with Filipino or Thai or Vietnamese laborers, they always comment on how friendly everyone is in Taiwan. Do you mind if I ask where you are from or which part of Taiwan you visited? I am very curious to hear more about your experience (seriously).
