I think there is at least a design rule that stronger Digimon are more complex. Like, they take up 'more data' to represent as you ascend in the evolution stages. And the designs make sense if you know the meaning of the name.

Suggestion: Artist A draws a creature, Artist B can't watch the drawing, but is still there for the conversation. Then Artist B tries to draw what they think was drawn based only on hearing what everyone talked about during the drawing. And since there are four of you, then repeat with the other two artists.

I actually kinda wish they didn't show that, because i was fully expecting it to just be the same digimon with a minor change after that. I even guessed it was just a wizard hat after Karina said it got it's code from a wizard or something like that. It kinda killed the surprise.

Julia made a great point about how Digimon seemingly has no rules, because like, at this point, Julia knows enough about Pokemon to do everything wrong but with Digimon sometimes you get a cactus with boxing gloves and sometimes you get Jerry from I.T. but he's wearing bondage gear, has 3 angel wings, and a gun. Anything you make is probably close to at least one digimon

I tried to look it up to find an answer, but only got a list of all puppet types (legit there is nowhere that defines what "puppet type" means) and, with some exceptions, most of them where either named after _animals or chess pieces??_ And then there is a Digimon named Puppetmon and it _isn't_ a puppet type?? I just want to know how they turn into an adult human from animals (and possibly mythical beings)... What happen to their organs... Imagine if thats us.. One day you have claws and big ears with good hearing then next.. Youre a human.. I get theyre digital... But they are also physical.. Like.. They are interactable.. They have their own minds.. They are sentient... They.. Dont they feel what happened to their bodies even if they dont have organs... I think i saw them drink.. But maybe thats them in the digital universe

@@yuki97kira well, they’re made from data, so it’s literally just them being stripped of all physical attribute data and acquiring new data on what form to take. For instance, there’s a Digimon whose physical body uses so much data that it cannot take physical form inside the digital world.

This is mainly aimed at Karina, if she sees it; For the next Digimon drawing video, I would like to suggest what I called a "Kimeramon challenge" as a kid. Basically, a number of Digimon are randomly selected, and the artist drawing takes parts from each Digimon to create a new one.

Balloons having souls is a very dangerous thought. If balloons have souls, what is stopping other inanimate objects from having souls? What if everything has a soul? What if the afterlife is filled with all of the discarded trash that we no longer want on this plane of existence? If the afterlife is full of trash, what motivation is there for people to be good on this plane of existence? Why bother trying to get into heaven, if heaven is just a garbage tip? Is there any point to anything at all? (Runs to a corner and hides under a blanket while making whimpering sounds...)

Karinas incredibly quiet “unless…” at 29:20 ish is amazing knowing what’s to come in my second watch through, I didn’t even hear it the first time. Plus her talking about yes. Accessorize. Karina was for sure delighted with how beautifully her plot twist was coming together giving Julia her digimon while hearing the others talk about how the evolution means nothing.

34:35 actually Bandai have contests all the time where they turn fan submissions into real Digimon. The first example that comes mind is Soundbirdmon which was a fan design and it ended up serving a purpose in two different Digimon anime.

Holy heckin' hachi-machi, this is my favorite episode in a long time! Maybe of all time? Top marks to Karina, for the bait-and-switch of the century. Top marks to Nathan, for bringing flat Newman into this. Top marks to Jacob, for doing far too good a job. Top marks to Julia, for following the rules. And TOP MARKS to David for knocking it wayyyy outta the park with the edit. I laughed so hard I almost pissed my dang pants when Castiel fell to hell.
