Loving the new videos where you either base things on your medical background or talk to other people. Ngl, my background is in IT, I do a lot of backend(server side) development, so whenever you go too deep on the tech side I just can't avoid facepalming to inaccuracies or exaggerations. But when you exploit either your background in medicine or your ability to socialize your videos come out amazing.

Love the long form content and definitely interesting hearing more new world comparisons and thoughts coming from someone who never jumped into New world

While I personally enjoy the analysis videos with your individual commentary the most, it's good that you're getting variety in here and expanding the community like you do with your Bespoke series. Most of your discussions have good energy and are enjoyable like this one.

I think the PvPers have to realize that a game can't just be 100% content for the PvPers, and expect the PvEers to build up the world for no reward, so PvPers can knock it down again. So, I think you are going to have your elite "Company" of soldiers bearing the main burden of PvP, but you are also going to have the Citizen "Levy", that are not going to be as strong but may swing the balance. The most successful nodes are going to be the ones that get the best PvPers and the best PvEers, equipping them, building the node and helping fight in PvP even if they are not quite as strong. It will just be a new meta to adapt to. It is going to be equal for everyone. The good thing is that there are 85 nodes per server, which means, on any one server there are going to be 8-12 "Dominant" nodes with about 200 players in each. There is going to be a corner of the world for everyone. The one thing people may struggle with is that it isn't going to be easy to exclude people from a node deliberately. All of a guild or company can go to a node, but so can everyone else. Guilds don't own nodes. The citizens do.

I personaly would like sliders for every spell effect in the game so you can make more impactful spells stand out where say a basic dmg spell not so much node wars being uncapped (well based on citizens) make thing interesting as a mayor side of things you could go for more appartments/housing options to bump up citizen amount of the node or more economic things like crafting benches and sacrafice manpower in wars i think make things interesting. Having effective AoE skills is another big thing for unccapped pvp if a small group can effectivly use AoE skill like syncing them up on pushing through a chock point or something it allows for strategic play that allows the smaller group to come out ahead AoE skills are effectivly the balancing factor when it comes to small groups agaist large.

Tab target 100% takes out skill expression, but the tradeoff may be worthwhile in being able to keep lesser dedicated/lesser skilled players on the game.

When I'm in a bubble like this, my sports fandom or politics I always love to get an outsider perspective. Not a hater or long time fan boy, just a neutral outsider. Willy might not be neutral lol, but he's new to the scene, and it's a good perspective to hear. I do appreciate that you know how crucial it is to get the facts correct for a new person.

I played a ton of New World, I got to do a lot of invasions but only two wars. Wars were always the same players time and again.

I love this talk. You definitely should continue looking for more fresh bloods and talk to them. I'm pretty much done with Ashes content because of the "echo chamber" you mentioned. Not that it's a problem, it's just that I'm bored of listening the same things repeated over and over again for so many years.

do not give players sliders for spell effects. in ark they let players have to ability to turn off foliage and players min max the game by turning it off so the game looks ugly and enemy players cant use it to hide. i think ashes should have everyone on an even playing field and if they let players use sliders for spell effects then they will turn it off completely and the game will look like shit to outsiders watching it on twitch when people are doing these big ass siege wars
