As occupational therapists, it is always useful for us to look at uncommon scenarios, conditions, and diagnosis, and think about how we would provide intervention. This keeps our O.T. minds sharp and creative. Today we take a look at craniopagus malformation. Craniopagus twins joined at the head are an uncommon malformation found once in 2.5 million live births and represent only 2-6% of conjoined twins. These twins have to make several adaptation and modifications to live their lives. What are three ways O.T. could intervene, adapt, remediate, or modify?
