Very informative, thanks, also I see your setup for your dive air with the quick connect you have the snap end on the pump with a pop off valve how do you like that verses the nipple end on the pump and no pop off

Great video Thomas I just got a Keene 4 inch 3 stage dredge. Did you put hog matts in you dredge? it kind of looks like it if you did how do you like them?

Yep Caleb. I have hog mat in my dredge. I've been using them for about 2 yrs. I li!e them a lot. Works go on the gold here in Indiana and on the gold at Lu's in AL. Run my motor somewhere between 1/2 to 3/4 throttle. Fast clean up less cons.

I live in the Midwest as well, Missouri actually I'm attending the Indianapolis gold and treasure show and I'm going to be purchasing a dredge hopefully. Where can we dredge still ? I've tried searching for rules and regulations for years now and can't get a straight answer I'd hate to get it confiscated.

What do you think about the 3 stage sluice box ? we are not to far apart I’m from Lafayette Indiana

The 3 stage sluice works fine. In fact if set up properly, it catches gold as good as anything else. I use the gold hog matting to increase my fine gold recovery and decrease the amount of cons I have to carry out.

hi thomas first time viewer. how do you adjust your sluice for angle?

Hi Thanks for watching. The sluice angle is adjusted by moving the sluice back back and forth on the dredge frame. You may get a little more adjustment by weighting back of the dredge with rocks or lead weights.

I notice you are not to far from where I live. I'm curious as to where you.got.your splitter thats between your pump and high pressure hose?

That comes from keene to allow you to connect their blaster nozzle.

You're welcome. I did it mainly for the people in the places that can still dredge. Sorry that you can't in Oregon. Hopefully that will change soon. Thanks for watching.
