Phase 1; stop giving money to the NGOs supplying the tents and other equipment. Phase 2; Bring the migrants to a location and anyone who leaves automatically forfeit their right to asylum. Make sure they have proper facilities where you bring them, eg. toilets and showers. Phase 3; Any NGO staff member who helps them after they leave the assigned location should be imprisoned. Any NGO found encouraging migrants to come here or assisting them in breaking the law once they arrive should be automatically defunded and fined.

We do not have the resources/infrastructure to look after our own vulnerable people. The health crisis was first announced by Mary Harney in 2006 (open to correction), I think it was. Damn near two decades later and things didn't improve they only got worse. A twenty year emergency isn't an emergency, it's policy. We've already spent more on asylum seekers in the last 2/3 years than we spent on the new children's hospital. Our ability to care for these extra people was never really there. When 20% of the population weren't born here, and there has been precious little infrastructure investment in the last twenty years, there comes a time when even the most ardent do-gooder has to accept our abilities (and increasingly, our will) to help these people has run out. It is not Ireland's responsibility to take in this many.

There was a foreign guy in his 40's on Henry Street in Dublin yesterday. He was randomly harrasing a security guy, in his 20's, working at The Chemist Warehouse door area. He was well dressed and had a diamond earring. The security guy asked him to move on several times. He didn't go away and kept getting into the security mans face. Que him saying something nasty about the security mans mother ...Pop. The security man gave him a box and the troublemaker landed flat on his face. He seemed okay, he sat up with a gash on the side of his head, but he was feeling sorry for himself. Security phoned the Gardaí as there was no Gardaí present on the Capital city street that was ahive with activity. I have never seen this behavior before in town, nor did I see the trouble maker before. He had obviously come from the canal area. .

If this is the state of things today, how much worse will things be when the EU Pact is signed? Every year the EU will assign 20,000/30,000 migrants to Ireland, how can we cope with this? Simple answer is, we can't!! Look at Denmark, much stricter system that works. We need to follow Denmark's example, who opted OUT of the Pact.
