Neil John Webb, born on 30 July 1963. His journey into professional football began with Reading, the club he joined after leaving Little Heath School in 1979. Making his debut at just 16 years old in February 1980, Webb quickly made his mark, becoming the youngest ever scorer for the Berkshire club early in the 1980-81 season. His natural talent and keen sense for the game were evident, and he swiftly established himself as a key player in Reading's squad, showcasing his skills and versatility on the field.
