At Home MINI BAND Arms Workout (30 Minutes!)
While dumbbells often get all the credit for helping to build strong, lean muscle in the arms and shoulders, the mini band is a compact piece of gym equipment that is portable and easy to store for those with limited space. Known as a mini band, mini loop band, or resistance loop band, whatever you call it, this piece of at-home workout equipment is a must-have in your home gym. This workout combines some of our favorite tricep, bicep, and shoulder exercises into one seriously killer resistance band arm workout.
Think you can’t get a good burn with just a loop band? Think again! We’ll be working those muscles to fatigue to help tone muscle and grow stronger in the process. The resistance of the mini band is unique in that it challenges you through the entire range of motion to maintain tension and prevent for breakdown.
Don’t Have A Mini Band At Home?
These mini loop band exercises can be done just as easily with a set of dumbbells if you don’t have a resistance band heavy. Just keep in mind that the mini band provides a resistance throughout the entire movement, so don’t drop those dumbbells when your arms get tired!

That first set of exercises intended for the biceps didn’t get in there for me at all - it worked my triceps. I thought for biceps you needed to do a pulling motion, not a press. What needs to be different about this exercise to get it to hit the biceps:

I noticed that too. Now, if you used dumbells, it would be a true bicep curl. Using resistance bands in the curl motion works the triceps

Great workout thank you. During the shoulder section, my arms were shaking so it was definitely working. My shoulders are defo my weak area so trying to build them up.

Oh my god this is so hard. My ego was crushed! I lift heavy weights but clearly need to develop more muscles and stick with your band workouts. Wow killer arm workout I used to do weights all the time but I feel more of a burn with the mini band! I feel I have more of a mind body connection. I appreciate the little cues to not snap the band back seems obvious but when you are tired it helps to hear it 💪 thanks!! 😀
