any step that can be done on a depot can be done directly on a belt, this should save you so much space and effort creating some of these production lines and saws can be inline with belts and the items will flow straight through without having to use a funnel

I am telling you guys, it will be interesting to see Mango shall he decide to fully automate rail production. Cause I have been working on it in the past days in creative and it's wild. It takes several DOZEN of production steps for various materials. Automating something like flux and bituminous coal is super tricky. And while it's bad enough in creative, actually building such a factory in survival, will take forever

I wonder if mango knows that you can do the sequential processing recipes on a conveyor belt (with the machinery pointing at the items on the belt obvs) and it's really nice like that for singular items and it pauses the flow to process the machines etc etc. or if he doesn't, how long it'd take for him to see a comment that does tell him about that.

This is honestly my favorite Minecraft series on KZfaq right now. Between TFC making the grind way more difficult and the addition of my favorite mod create this series has captured my attention and I’ve rewatched it twice. I look forward to seeing you potentially connecting to the other bases via train network, though I do realize what an enormous undertaking that is! Love it very much Mango!

I really love this series. Create has been such a boon for tech mod packs because of its less is more approach with problem solving. Rather than giving you one block that just perfectly solves all your problems, e.g. a quarry block that just takes power in and spits materials out, create gives you a simple set of tools that can be used to solve any problems, but it’s never a perfect solution. This lets the player actually do a bit of engineering to tailor their solution to the specific problem at hand, and the limitations of the tools are just enough to create significant challenges that need to be solved along the way, while still allowing most things within reason to be accomplishable if you are clever enough. Tech packs have been in a dark place since official updates inadvertently killed so many of the great old school tech mods, but create and kubejs have been a game changer, and some of the newer packs are the best I’ve played.

I know that these are pre recorded, but when testing in my world, the filter for the ingot mold full of metal could instead be set to block only empty molds from passing. The nbt data must be respected however. This allows me not to have to select each type of metal or alloy and makes life easier, hope this helps in some way.

It is possible to "chain" all the operation needed for such craft as the rail in a production line (one long belt with all the operations made on it). The mod is made for it. There is no problem of pace (the item do not move when an operation occur on the line). Such contraption could make your production line look way better and realistic, as well as save you quite a lot of ressources.

Useful tips: you can use a belt instead of a depot for the deployers

if you go the catalyst metal way, its a far smaller footprint and you can decide if you want sheets or ingots!

14:00 I don't know if this will work in ATFC, but I built a cow-separator/breeder in vanilla by placing my cows on glass panes; the calfs will fall through and then get flushed to a separate pen
