Thanks for the video. By way of feedback, it would have been a lot easier to consume if the background music were a lot quieter than your voice.

Nice review, must work really well. but just for reference. Get a used manual treadmill, you can get them really cheap: Cause nobody wants them :P picking mine up for 10 bucks.

This seems crazy expensive for a manual treadmill especially since shipping isn't included in the price. It is also bulky as heck -- though the bottom folds up (I think) there's no where to put this thing except in the middle of the floor. I'd like one, but will wait until version 2.0 where it will no doubt be either cheaper, or have a few portability features...

I wonder how it would do going forward. To try to simulate pushing a sled. Have you tried that?

Thanks for doing this review. I preordered this a few weeks ago which is something I have never done. So I was hesitant on if the product would deliver on its promise. I have a sled at home but there’s just too little space to actually get a quality workout, I’m looking forward to having this and not have to worry about space.

This is awesome! I felt the same way, but really have loved all their stuff. Yeah definitely worth it if you put a ton of time into backwards walking or sledding. I use when even watching TV or Football. It also folds up super compact to get it out of the way too when you are not using it. You'll have to let us know your thoughts when yours comes in :) - Mateo

What does yours sound like during use? Mine makes a groaning type noise when backwards walking. Edit: I had to loosen the front belt adjustment screws and the groaning went away. Seems like the default adjustment had too much tension and strain on the wheels.

It definitely sounds different than a regular treadmill. Thanks for the edit. Yes I made sure to add adequate oil & then I played with the front 2 screws. We are definitely the pioneers of this lol it's hard to know what to expect out of the box & 1st use. Thanks for your feed back I know it will help other users as well - Mateo

My apologies for just now getting back to you & you sure can! The purpose of this treadmill is to replace weighted sledding specifically backward! I have also used it forward too & it feels a lot like pushing a sled just with an incline 🙂!

Gotta get this! Im on my feet all day for work. Are there any shoes you reccomend that are easy on the knees? They kill me by the end of the day

You can :) I know that's where I started until our gym got a backwards sled. My opinion is this is way more effective & efficient than any other means that I have tried. I like how much resistance I can add & compared to the sled not having to turn so frequently, just being able to go consistently as long as I desire. If you are enjoying the manual treadmill and still getting the same great results & benefits of backwards walking then that is what matters. I'm just happy that people are utilizing the benefits of backwards walking :) - Mateo

Not that I'm aware of. Local gyms could potentially have sleds that you could pull backwards or treadmills that you can control the resistance on. That's what I used as an alternative until I purchased the backwards treadmill - Mateo

Is hanging and doing pull ups actually help with the spine and shoulders or is that a myth?

Great 👍 question! To truly know the answer to that it should be studied under some sort of diagnostic imaging while pull ups or hanging is being performed. Personally I’d say it tractions the arms, shoulders & traps more than directly the spine itself. - Mateo

This is a 1st, great question . It’s quieter than the treadmills at the gym by a lot. I use it next our bedroom while my girlfriend sleeps without an issue & next to our home office too without an issue. Since its intent is high resistance it’s pretty quiet since the speed stays relatively low. I hope 🤞 that was helpful. Great question 👊 - Mateo
