Thanks for the video. It was helpful in solving a problem. Just a comment on 2 amp power supply specifications. Your advice is good. However, the 2 amps refers to a minimum capacity output rating. It can be greater than 2 amps and still be fine. In fact, a greater capacity usually means the power source has some reserve headroom which is a good feature. The scope, and any other electronic device, will draw the exact charging amperage it requires up to the limit of the supply. The supply does not force the scope to take the full amperage. On the other hand, the output voltage is important to be a constant 5 volts regulated. (Hank, retired designer of power supplies.)

I have a Thor 4 640 and in the morning the image is muted due to the environment beingg cold soaked, but sometimes when it NUC's, the contrastrs are way better but there is a ghost image floating on the current image. It seems that the scope is capable of better image quality differentiating of contrasts in a cold soaked environment. Any idea what it's doing? I've tried contrast and thermal sensativity to no avail.

I have question my Thor Lt have couple problems one found out zeroing it the left and right are back wards and also on the zoom one of them sighted in the other is way off do I have to zero on both settings

Any ideas on focusing issues? My scope worked great yesterday but today I turned it on and now it won’t focus on anything after 5 yards anything past 25 yards is a complete blur

Maybe that explains why when I shot my AR today I never knew I had to turn the ballistics calculator off and it seemed like I was off the target now once you do sight it in with that ballistic calculator off and you turn the ballistic calculator on does it automatically move your radicalon to the target at different ranges when you hit the down arrow? I also run the ABL 1500 and when I went align the ABL the way you would think it would be the laser was not in the center the only way I got it to line up with the ABL box was I had to flip the ABL almost upside down

I've got a 4k pro 5x20 and the compass is locked on north and I can't get it to calibrate. Any suggestions?

Any advice on why my compass does not calibrate? I've done the whirly twirly dance shown on ATNs website. But it just gets stuck on North and when I flip it 360, I get ERR at the top.

So just bought a x-Sight 4K Pro the scope. The images do not show on my phone. I can see the settings on the app but not the scope view. Wifi is good, any clues why?

I have an issue I have the ATN 4K buck hunter 3-14 and when I get passed 6x on the zoom looking at anything past 50 yards it gets extremely blurry no mater how I adjust the front focus adjustment The first time I took it out and sighted it in it did not have this issue the second time it’s started doing this idk if I messed with something in the settings or what I did any ideas I contacted ATN multiple times and they never get back to me with a response

I’m having trouble sighting in my Thor 4 . I went through the video and did everything but my shots are any where from 8 to 10 inches off. Took scope off put a different scope on to see if it’s the scope or the gun. The gun is a tack driver with the other scope on it wondering what thei should try.?

At 7:48 you mention to turn off the Ballistics calculator when zeroing a weapon. I have zero'd my scope at 100 yds successfully. A few days later I zero'd my ABL for the first time, at 100 yards, soon after that I shot my rifle at 100 yds 5 times, didnt even touch the paper (8inx10in target). I lost my zero. First thing I did was to check the rings and mounts to be tight, they were. My next thought is that something occurred when I sighted my ABL, because before I shot, I pressed the Rangefinder button and gave me 100 yds. Any idea what could have happened? I would assume its something to do with your comment about turning off the calculator.

Hi I've got a request I will like to see a video on a full set up on a abl 1500 input like setting speed and scope hight and other info I know all rifles are different but it the basic info will help I've done mine and it still ain't 100 percent . Zero at 100 shot using the the ffp recital profile and tryed to aim with the green dot on cross at 200yards and it shot almost on cross and 300yards it was in-between the dot and cross any help with that will be good

Hi really helpful videos your doing! I have a question for you. I have a 4K on my air rifle (fx impact) at the moment I am using 7 profiles ie .22 caliber with 2 different slug weighs and 1 pellet, .25 with 1 slug, 1 pellet different weights and a .30 with 1 slug and 1 pellet. My question for you is do I need to zero for each profile or just the one as the scope is staying on the rifle and let the abl and ballistics calculator come up with its own solution? I found out my thor 4 keeps getting a ERR code because of the compass. It is always pointing North no matter what ,and if I rotate the scope it immidiatly gets a err code. I rotated the scope to calibrate but dont help. Do I just start rotating the scope to calibrate it or is there something more to it? I cant find any steps for calibrating in the settings. The err code dont seem to bother anything,,and is easiy reset by opening functions and closing again

After shooting about 30rd out of me rifle the sight clarity got super off like when you’re watching a movie through a VCR but with the contrast all the way up. Almost as if it’s receiving too much light and even with the extension added to shroud the light it still does it and I tried to see if it was only during the day but it does the same thing in might vision mode at night. Did I break this sight somehow or is it fixable?

Got the Thor 4 set up on the rifle. For some reason it will not recognize the heat of an object. The reticle shows up and the compass but cannot see the target. Ideas??

Thanks for the video. I have the thor 4 1x10 640. I’ve update firmware per Atn directions. I’ve played with all the settings, contrast, sensitivity, etc. the issue is that the picture is just blown out, it looks very white. It can sort of detect in the corners but even at 25 yards it’s just not contrasting well. Any ideas?

Question for you. I have the 4k pro on a quick detach scope mount. I created a profile for my ar10 and one for my 308 bolt action. Do I need to re-zero the scope every time I go between rifles or does it retain zero? I’m old school and prefer to re-zero religiously but I’m just curious if it’s necessary. Thanks!

How about this question: I have the cheaper LT model but the issue is the poi is so far off that my reticle is closer the corner of the screen than the center. Any idea how to fix that? I assume it would involve taking it apart and adjusting the guts but figure I'd ask around first.

My new atn thor 4 wont turn on. When it arrived I did the firmware update and it seemed to work fine for a couple days and then I tried to turn it in nothing happens. It clicks when I hold the power button down for 15sec but still doesn't turn on. If I plug it up to charger still nothing happens. Any suggestions? Thank you for your time.

Thinking of getting ATN 4K Pro 5x20, I see a lot of mixed reviews, my main concern is the how well you can see 500+ meters out.

Just got my Thor LT in yesterday. Had it plugged in overnight and this morning battery still showed empty. I was using an iPhone plug. Went and picked up another plug this morning, rated at 2.4a and it's been charging for about 3 hours now, battery still shows completely empty but will function when unplugged. Lightning bolt is visible next to the battery symbol when it's plugged in. Any ideas?

I've been thinking about one of these, either 14 or 20x. Not knowing much about them I have a few questions. Is everything you see through the scope electronic (nothing etched in glass)? Is the zoom electronic, mechanical or a combo? Thinking about how grainy the zoom will look at high magnification, 14 vs 20x, would the 20x zoom be more clear at 14x magnification than the 14x zoom is at 14x? (14x is a good magnification but if 20x shows clearer at 14x it may be worth buying the 20x to get that clarity). I've seen video of these and at 200 yards they seem worthless at night without some powerful light to light up the target area. What kind of light, type/power wise, does it take to make these scopes work well at, say, 300/400 yards? Hope this isn't to much of a pain but since I can't just go test them I want as much info. as I can get. Thanks so much!

I’m having trouble with the audio lagging behind the video when replaying it. Didn’t have that issue initially then started doing it on some videos but not on others. Eventually started doing it on all rav but not on manually triggered videos then eventually started doing it on them. I updated to latest firmware didn’t help. I had a off brand Walmart 16gb card in it that had the rated specs from atn so recently swapped it out for San disk extreme pro 32gb high end card and still have same issues. Any recommendations to fix this issue?

Just wanted to chime in real quick, I recorded on a 16Gb sd card on 1080 120fps yesterday and it did not show the reticle after looking at them on my phone

I have a 7.62x39 upper. I shoot both supersonic Hornady Black and some hand loaded subsonic expansion bullets. I zeroed the supers, and the reticle shows up on the (roughly) center of the screen. Obviously, the subs dropped a lot at 100 years, to the point where my reticle is almost at the very bottom of the screen, but I don’t care. Both rounds would strike right where they were supposed to as I switched back and forth. But here’s my problem. I let the rifle sit in the safe for a month and went back out. I see red my reticle for the subs, and it was centered in the middle of the screen. I thought I had selected the wrong one, so I checked it again, and it was still in the center. I shot a subsonic load, which hit dead on the bull. I then switched to my supersonic reticle, which appeared in the very top of my screen. It also hit center on the point of aim for that reticle. Both reticle are still very accurate to my point of impact, but my screen/view appears to have changed to line up for the supersonic to be in the middle of the screen. Any clue how or why this happened? Is this normals?
