No, it is not the CV joint. That noise is from the track rollers and Mattracks internal suspension springs (SCS system). The CV joints are ok until now.

For hard surface or erosions and high speeds, yes, they are. But for mud, snow and swamp, tracks are amazing.

Mattracks seems like a better track system to me. Approach and departure angles seems better and the track system seems to have a more of a contact patch at angles. The 4s looks like it would have an advantage on flatter grounds. Go Mattacks .

the good thing about tracks compared to 29.5 outlaws is that when you gas it in a deep mud hole your back doesn't get coated in mud as if u gassed it with the tracks. or does that happen? i think it'd look badass having tracks at an atv rally

@CountryBoy102194. The red one is a Kawasaki Prairie 700cc, not a Honda Rancher and was with a bad carburator adjusment. It was loosing power when most needed. In a mud hole.

I don't know if they are worth the money but they seem to work fabulous! I don't see why they are priced that high, except the tracks you could almost make em yourself.

No, because there is a reduction at the sprocket. It is like using small tires. More reduction, so less speed. About 30% less.

You can see that one of the Atvs is a Honda 420cc Fourtrax (Like Rancher in US). And there is no problem using it. But big bore is better.

@geefroy. They are quite different. Mattracks is better finished and robust. But Tatou4S has a better grip, to have bigger teeth and more flexible rubber. Mattracks provides greater ground clearance.And greater width. Therefore stability Mattracks is also much more expensive. It is a difficult decision which one to buy.

I'd run swamp lites. Tracks really shine for running in snow. Better off having the floatation of large tires for that kind of riding.

Not in deep snow. The 4S's deeper paddles make them one of the best you can buy. Plus, no flats. Just don't throw a track...

No. They are heavy. About 40kg each and lower gravity center.

i bought mattracks for one of my atvs and there horrible in the snow unless you just plan to use them on flat ground then they would work.. then i bought a grizzly 700 with tatous on it and it goes everywhere, you can get that thing stuck.
