Thanks for the video. I remember going to these Christmas parades many years ago as a young child. They used to give out red and green paper Christmas flags and we would all wave them like mad as all the floats came through. Such fun!

This takes back over 45 years,as kids,living in Parnell,we would attend the parade every year even after moving to Rotorua. The old Farmers Trading building used to be on Nelson Street,when Santa was would sit on the corner of the building. The food hall was down in the basement level.

Channy, what a fun day out. Gosh, Auckland was having a busy one. That wind, at the end of your video. Gosh, crazy how strong it was. You two are so good with making use of Auckland's public transport. Keep up the good work posting, and hope you do a few more dessert videos too :P

So cool, I haven't been back to Christmas parade a few years now, seems this year the Santa on farmer building has gone. You two should go to see the Franklin road Christmas light display, you will love it, they are on until 24th every night between 7.30 to 11pm

What a privilege to be there and to experience that and people want to know is it really worth it to leave South Africa honestly with all that is going on in at the moment in SA .

Go watch the cost of living videos , and pause and check the prices on the menus....multiply that by 11.5 which is the current exchange rate....and you will be shocked. Petrol 91 octane is like R35 per liter , average white bread R34 per loaf. 1 x mango R77 each. 4 bed house with double garage and small yard=R7700 to R8500 per week , YES ....PERRRRRRR WEEK!

😅we’ve only experienced a winter Christmas once, when we traveled through Europe. Otherwise, it’s always been a hot summer Christmas for us ☀️

Don't believe what you see on social media, it's horrifically expensive there and the weather mostly kak. Durban has the best weather in the world and not to mention the nicest people in community...NZlanders are bitter and pretty much stick to themselves in THE CLICK.

Aww, no marching girls now. There always used to be teams of marching girls when I was a kid. The floats used to be more elaborate too, none of this inflatable stuff back in my day. My how things have changed. At least Santa is still there, and he still appears straight
