Hi, thanks for your helpful videos. I have a 2014 A5 convertible(only 20k miles on it) that the top has suddenly stopped working when the top gets to vertical closing position. There are no fault codes(using Autel 980pro which has top operated and not activated switch info. Hydraulic fluid is proper. The second issue is I've tried manually closing but the lever in the center trunk won't disengage. With the top opened enough to see the mechanism, I'm still not able to move lever. Your input is greatly appreciated.

In the LHS of these vehicles there's something convered in a foam like material. What's inside the foam? I need to remove or move this component to get to my MMI radio module as I believe it has become water damaged... How difficult is it to remove without taking out the boot cards? Any help appreciated!

Nice vid mate. Is it the same procedure when the roof is closed? Because my vcds shows a fault with the convertible switch and can t open the roof. The roof lamp in the instrument cluster is also blinking.

I've followed your steps.. all looks good but I'm still getting the yellow light flashing and it says soft top not secure. Is this a memory thing do you know and if so is there a way to reset the warning? Allowing the roof to cycle? Great vid by the way. Thanks.

Before you remove the roof liner try this. I was able to squeeze the upper tensioning bows on each side without taking the roof liner off. With the wife pushing down onto the roof deck from outside the car. Does anyone know how to reset the yellow levers and cams in the trunk / boot? Thanks for posting.

Follow up on sunroof stopping at the horizontal position when closing. I found the rear window was drooping to low and jamming against the front opening. I now need to figure out why this is happening

How do you reverse releasing the hydraulic with the yellow levers?

So there's no way to do this without having to take of the liner? So apparently the manual use of the convertible top is just for emergency use to open or close but not to be able to use it recreationally because then liner will be off 🥺

Was able to get top up, but now top motor does not function? How do you reset the top mechanism? How do you put the trim back? What is the CAUSE of this problem?!

Hey I have a different problem with my roof, there is a flashing convertible sign reading softtop cannot be used. Even when I pull the switch for it to come down it will flash the sign . I manually pulled it back and forward with this video but it still didnt work. Also I even bought a new battery still no change. Audi A5 2010 quattro cabriolet.
