@@thenoneckpeoplerepresentat8074while that may be the case, what are the chances that somebody would do such an excellent job? Highly unlikely, unless taken to a specialist that’s highly respected.

The one I used is a walnut shell blaster, which helps remove the carbon.

Good mechanic work. A lot of attention to detail. Everything was torqued, the engine was flushed, and the oil was changed.

That has got to be an expensive procedure. My hat’s off to the technician who performed it. Great job!
@spiKey0svetlana Жыл бұрын
This foam is interesting. Seems like it has good cleaning properties. These videos are proof that these modern, especially DI engines are expensive to maintain. You have a ton of ecology equipment which can fail, everything is made out of plastics and then there's this carbon buildup issues. This has been somewhat remedied with added port injection. Also it doesn't help that VAG engineered the timing and pulley system to be at the back of the engine. Everything's just crammed. So for any maintainance you have to pull the motor. Thanx for the video!!

Move to electric. No maintenance….
@spiKey0svetlana Жыл бұрын
@@juamiso well.... That maybe so. But when it's time for the battery to be replaces you're gonna have a bad time. Cuz it's economically unfeasible. Too expensive. So what about used cars market?
@billskalicky5400 Жыл бұрын
Or the manufacturer could stop reinventing the wheel and left the engine port injection.
@cbizkit362 жыл бұрын
If I could find mechanics like this I wouldn’t mind spending money! How many actually do everything they’re supposed to do. So many ripoffs it’s hard to trust most places will complete a full process without trying to screw you into next week!

Outstanding and impressive work, indeed a very nice job and excellent presentation, where I come from we used to warm up the engine, take about one quart of water dump it slowly into the intake system while holding the throttle running above idle until running out of water then put a little marble mistery oil, to lubricate the whole intake system, remove the spark plugs, inspect for carbon in the cylinders, guarantee a quicker, cleaner cheaper way to clean for carbon deposit, but that was the old school. That was on carburated engines.

The attention to detail and dedication to the craft are amazing. I do not want to know how much this process cost. I have a direct injection Buick Enclave. It gets a $12 can of Seafoam Upper Engine cleaner every other oil change and it is pretty happy with that.

Seafoam is a miricle It is the best product available i have done my own comparison tests its all i buy
@leemon908 Жыл бұрын
Use any other kind of fuel treatment than seafoam PLEASE! Seafoam was made for 2 cycle engines that use a fuel and oil mixture, vehicles nowadays are 4 cycls and dont mix oil and fuel, you will be unnecessarily burning the oil in the seafoam in your engine. PLEASE try lucas or a better brand of upper cylinder cleaner and you will be much happier with the results 😊
@justincace5517 Жыл бұрын
Fuel never reaches the valves. You're seafoam is only cleaning your fuel system in removing moisture. Complete waste of money on a direct-injected vehicle. Your car is probably carboned up really really really really bad.
