I am continuing to try the different guitar types for Canon 3 to see how they feel in the set. I used this Squier Bullet Telecaster to come up with Canon 3, and while I think the audio sounds pretty good here, I am a bit worried it might be noisy in the performance space. I think I will go back to trying the Esquire 5 String with a different tone setting and see how that feels. I would like a sound that is not too bright but that still has some saturation . . .

Wow Canon in DD5's opening was pretty out there today!
I know I always list the 4G℞E Amp in the list of gear used in these recordings, but I thought I would mention that it is something I designed and built to provide a wide range of tones. More info can be found here (also if you'd like to buy one!): 4gre.org/amp/
A word on content: I am working to prepare a set for an upcoming performance at Entropy Stereo ( entropystereo.com/Entropy_Ster... ) in Redford, Michigan, usa, on August 9, 2024.
I'm playing the 9-String Esquire and Squier Bullet Telecaster through a 9V adapter powered 4G℞E Amp into the Ampeg 810 as usual. Left channel audio is coming from the 810 close-mic'd with the Marantz PMD 222 and the right channel audio is the output of the 4G℞E Amp into a JDI direct box into a hardware limiter into the camera.
Thank you so much for accompanying me on my daily practice for 6/25/2024.
Sending many positive vibes,
