It's the Menuhin Competition who invited TwoSet... As @ppp p said, they were supposed to attend it as roving reporters. Since the pandemic prevents everyone from travelling, they worked something out together so that they could still be a part of the event. I can't wait to see what other surprises they've prepared ! 😊

May I introduce you to me, the student that's teacher is Malta's Youth Philarmonic Orchestra's Concert Master and Soloist at Malta's Philarmonic Orchestra and winner of Performing arts award in Malta but has shaky bow at every lesson and trembling fingers at every lesson just at the thought of knowing that I'm playing horribly infront of this well known man full of outrageous talent and perfection in music. I can't anymore I'm done..

@@islandloop1328 You know, your teacher was a student once. He also had a teacher with much more experience than him, he also had shaky bow and trembling fingers when performing in front of him. But he kept practicing and working hard, and today his former teacher is undoubtedly very proud of him. Keep in mind that your teacher doesn't expect perfection from you, he expects you to give him your best. No need to put that much pressure on yourself, as you can see it yourself it's counterproductive. Relax, practice seriously, and be very attentive to his feedback. No doubt that your teacher will be proud of you. Not for being the best, but for giving YOUR best. Keep it up, you can do it ! 🤗💕

@@oxoelfoxo He's mostly performed as a soloist since he won the Menuhin Competition in 2010. He recently became a member of the Shanghai Quartet.

Actually, Menuhin Competition invited them for the 2020 competition which got cancelled coz Covid.they were to be “roving reporters” this years competition has advertised them again, so I think we will see more from this collaboration in later weeks.

as a very real and licensed doctor i can agree with Brett. HPD (Hyper Procrastination Disorder) is a very real disorder, in fact millions of people, especially young musicians, suffer from it and often get bullied for it. You're very brave for doing this Brett

This comment is not about your performance or anyone else's. It is about the Bach Chaconne. We studied this in Form and Analysis. The first three chords are critical. They are a statement of grief, as is the entire Chaconne. When Bach composed this, he had just returned from an audition trip to find that his wife had died and had been buried. We watched the Itzhak Perlman video, and I cried uncontrollably through the entire piece. I value this piece for its emotional value. Thank you for choosing it for public performance.

Well, they were invited by the Menuhin competition as guests last year, which ended up being postponed to this year, which is now only remote. It's not so amazing they got the adjudicators since they are officially part of the competition (just not official competitors). However, the bloopers must be great!
