Authorities Demolish Homeless Tiny Homes on Venice Boardwalk; Daisy's Initiative Thwarted

On January 24, 2024, Daisy, known as the Venice Healer, faced a regulatory issue with her three tiny homes on the Venice Beach Boardwalk. A team comprising Los Angeles Police Officers, Park Rangers, and their Chief informed her that her homes were not compliant with ordinances for street performers and vendors.
Authorities gave Daisy a grace period to move her tiny homes. She relocated one to Santa Monica, but the remaining two were demolished. This situation has sparked discussions on the compatibility of grassroots initiatives with city regulations.

The police were so kind and patient actually and took all of her belongings out of the truck before they hauled the boarded up contraption she referred to as a tiny home. All in all- this girl needs help. The lady officer was also extremely patient and kind the whole time- in the face of such defiance. I guess they all felt sorry for her because shes more like a child.
