Another cool video! Hey maybe you or some of the viewers can help me with dashcam mirrors. When you reach the age that you need reading glasses, the dashcam mirror starts to get blurry. I can't be the onlyone with the problem.. so is there any way to fix this? Did anyone come up with a lense in front of the mirror or something? Can't use those reading glasses while driving you know 😂

Some sort of magnifying glass or plastic over the mirror. Good idea.

Thank you Wild! Ah good question, there are some strange bugs, not sure if they are related to the App or the dash cam. I actually covered this in my full review here kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e6h8qdRjvZi3p4U.html And I'm actually working a full App Menu video for the Nexar, which will explain in more detail all of it setting stay tuned for it. It does work and specially if you need the Cloud function, and with Ring being out, Nexar is one of the few options we have left, here is my video regarding Ring kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nq-la6WHrNHcZas.html Cheers!

Ok, question for you, I’m reading all the reviews and Reddit post about this thing and it “Requires” pay $9.99 month for activate and use it. Does it require to activate the subscription or can I just use it without subscription?

Hi Dolan! Nope subscription is not required to use the dash cam. However if you do you opt for the subscription then it will enable the Nexar connect features which I cover on my full review here kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e6h8qdRjvZi3p4U.html that way you can decide if you need them or not. Cheers!

I highly recommend the OD2 port adapter for continuous power. The cigarette lighter doesn't keep the device powered overnight.

I have a Nexar beam. Is the cable for the one a USBA or USB C?

Hey brotha, I have a 2023 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack. What do you recommend in installing hardwire kit or ODB? I want the live feature. Your videos are extremely helpful.

Ah I haven't tested the hardwire kit for the Nexar but their OBD2 adapter was designed so it provides the same benefits (live view etc) than their hardwire kit, so I think it's just going to come down to a matter of personal touch in terms of which one you want to use to power the dash cam, Cheers!

@@AlexAutoFun by any chance do you know about the dash cams brand Vantrue. Do any offer the live view. Like a ring cam. Where you can view it from your cell and see what is currently happening around your car?

Hi Daniel! I have not tested their dash cams so I can't comment on their performance but they are not cloud connected dash cams (live view, live notifications, etc is a very rare option) The only other dash cam I tested that can be connected to the cloud is this one kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eKd1e5eXl9vQdac.html Cheers!@@danielpollockjr.1714

Can you please help me with this issue? Your dash cam is associated with a fleet This dash cam is part of a fleet and does not work with the Nexar app. Install it in your vehicle and you're all set! Learn More

Hi Andy! What you have is likely a used Nexar dash cam that was purchased originally for fleet or they shipped out the wrong dash cam (if you bought it new from Nexar or from one of it's approved distributors). I would recommend contacting your seller or Nexar for tech support, likely the dash cam will have to be returned. Cheers!
