So the module needs 12v to turn the module on (Ignition feed)? Or is that used for something else?

Yes the module needs 12 volts thank you

In order to get spark the computer the module in this case has the transistor that goes to ground that is on and off determined by the computer but you do not see the transistor because it is in the computer module so yes as a result of that ignition coil will be turned on and off and a collapsing field will be induced into the secondary and the spark plugs thank you for your comments
