I think the car looks great. I admit, when I first saw the grill for the M3 and M4 I was very disappointed, but it’ has since grown in me.

Brother I have watched no less than 100 videos on this new M3 and this is by far been the most fun and best one I’ve watched. Thank you so much. Your enthusiasm and commentary we’re outstanding.

I'm surprised at how nice the car looks in motion. The design actually works. Generally, the car is better than the old one in every way. If it's the last non-electric, it goes out with the biggest of bangs.

This car has grown on me pretty quick, I did not like the grill when I first saw it but the more I look at it the more I like, the humps on the bonnet going into the bumper and the grill look pretty aggressive, I actually do rather like it now.

Nice review Rory, the M3 looks great on the road and I am sure we will get used to that front end look. Although I think the overall lines and the bonnet design are also a bit fussy.

I actually kinda like the grill now after starting to get used to it might just take time to adjust to for some people but if the 'hate' continues BMW might consider some slight changes that may bring back an audience.

You do the best review on this BMW - good explanations and you show the advantages when your driving and your the only one that explained why the front grill is so large , your the best.

Nice review and videography! Car looks very busy while you're talking. Is it the road or the ride? When roads aren't track-smooth, it's faster to have some compliance.

I LOVE the spec on this car! The outside color, the wheels, the inside color. Just perfect! Also the grill doesn't look as bad on this as I imagined.

It looks mean and shouty, just as it should be. Remember the 2002 turbo? This car's styling with the mirrored lettering on the frontend was so offensive that it made it a topic for the German parliament, so as a descendant of this car the new M3 is definitely perfect as it is equally controversial. I love it.

This is one review I've been waiting for ever since I got hooked on Autotrader. Let me first say again Rory you're on a league of your own when it comes to reviewing cars. With regards to this car, whether one thinks it's ugly or beautiful we can all agree that it looks striking & compelling. I personally love what BMW has done. Lately manufacturers' top performance cars look like normal versions with just added body kit/extras. This car looks different. I love it. Also, I've always been a fan of a 2 door M3 (or M4 lately) & have never really liked a 4 door version BUT this time around I love the M3 more than the M4. Lastly I also agree with Rory that Beemer & Benz have pulled out their A game when it comes to interiors. Audi used to make the best looking interiors but it's been unseated by BMW & Mercs. I love this car. Just 2 wishes, I wish it didn't share that grille with the ordinary 4 series & I also wish it did not have to have a front number-plate. Did I mention i love this car?

The design wasn’t really a problem for me but the option to get the m3c without manual or dct. Anyway you look at it the zf8 was a a cost cutting measure, dct/manual has that extra 5%. Rory also summed it up best, the comp versions are basically baby m5 boats.

I actually like the grill on the M3/M4. I hate it on the regular 4 series, but on the M version it loses the "frame" and becomes frameless, making it look very menacing in my opinion

I wasn’t sure about the front grill at first. I think the number plate ruins it unfortunately. Sounds great and has real exhausts 👍. Shame about the gearbox, which is fine in the diesel executive cars but not the M3 ☹️

Just ordered this exact spec minus the orange interior. I will also replace the 19-inch front wheels with '20s to match the back.

The cameraman could've helped Rory out by telling him it's a hockey stick, not a puck! Lol

Split the grill horizontally with a body color matched line from the quarter panel, then eliminate the bottom vertical split to open up the lower intake and eliminate/reduce the lower slats. Upper grills, lower larger intake.

If it said Alfa Romeo on the badge we’d all be falling over ourselves to say how good it looked
