I’m so happy Cherry Almond is back. This is the OG scent that I loved as a young woman back in the early ‘90s. I never understood why it went away. I did not know there was a body scrub; Aveda marketing is not doing its job with my inbox! I’m glad you are promoting for them!

Cherry Almond is LIFE!! I gave CA to my mom, and she instantly had a sense memory of Jergens lotion, her Nana used to use it all the time and apparently CA has a very similar aroma!! She was delighted!

Deron! As you know trying new aveda is almost a known fact about me to everyone haha. we’ve used about everything on my hair at some point and added it to my regiments over time. Now, we’ve moved, pandemic and one year old has got me - Dry dry dry !! Sadness currently without you and Maddison and my “dry remedy” nor my usual routine of daily hair repair quite cuts it these days I switched to nitriplenish and don’t think that’s quite it. After this video, I’m totally sold !!! I’ve tried the oil of cherry almond and it rocks. Some how the smell transfers to my daughter and I thought it was her baby lotion. But it was the almond !! And we love it!! Glad to know I can try it on her too!! Would love to win the products to try them all out on her and I !!! Love to see what it can do to help my crazy long dry hair !!!!! Loving your videos from afar!!! Thanks for sharing !!! #crazyhairdocarewithaveda

I love love watching your videos ❤️ So humorous and Full of knowledge which is always a plus. Cherry Almond leave in is my go to for detangling. My son has long hair and thought that by just brushing his hair and putting some water around his frizzy hairline would do the trick. 🤦🏻‍♀️Well let me tell you, he would come home looking like he was homeless lol I gave him some cherry almond leave in and voilà problem solved. Oohhh and it smells soooo good!!! Just like candy 🍬 🍭

Lisa you’re so welcome! And yes, sadly cherry almond bark went away just before I started at the aveda institute, we had like one bottle left on the shelf at school, never got to try it 😞

Just stumbled on your amazing channel. I've been using Aveda for 20 years and own a lot of their products. Please make some videos on Smooth Infusion line of straightening products, now that the we might be damaging our hair again! I found your channel when researching Nutriplenish Leave in, I use Blue Malva as my only conditioner. Would Cherry Almond be good to use after Blue Malva and Smooth Infusion Shampoo/Sap Moss Shampoo? Thanks!

Bella thanks so much for the kind words! You are right I still need to tackle smooth infusion, I will for sure! And yes, cherry almond would be a great compliment to the combo you mentioned, you might start with a nickel size amount and see if it does the trick as you are already using some fairly rich shampoos.

I mean all the times I’ve been on the space station it’s worked great, I imagine the vacuum of space is generally bad for your hair 😉

I finally purchased this leave in and while I love it I feel I need more moisture. Which product or products would you recommend?

What do you use for shampoo and conditioner? I would definitely look at the Nutriplenish Line, probably the deep moisture shampoo and conditioner, the leave in conditioner is great but if your hair is more coarse and needs extra oil softening, the multi use oil is amazing

You’re definitely using gentle cleansers, Nutriplenish might do the trick 👍🏻

I love Cherry Almond Leave in!! To me it smells a little like baby-powder, but don't mind it and LOVE what it does for my hair.

My question is: I have a few Aveda products, volumizing tonic, brilliant spray, daily hair repair...but what order should I be using these fab products? Could you do a video on this, showing how we should be layering them please 🙂

Gail I would always start with daily hair repair on damp hair, comb it through mid shaft to ends, and then layer on volumizing tonic root to end before you blowdry. if you are using daily hair repair, you might not really need damage control, is your hair highlighted?

Then I would say daily hair repair is far better suited to your hair. Damage Control is a great one, and I love the aroma, but it isn’t as robust as daily hair repair
