Used this product for the first time a few months ago and it was the best leave-in conditioner I've ever tried. I actually found some photos I had taken of myself from that time because I was so impressed with how lush and moisturized my hair looked - and it even looked more curly!

I spray it in my hands first. I'm pretty good at getting an even distribution that without spraying things I don't want. It is hands down my favorite leave-in conditioner! My waves look fabulous! When the air is dry I get loose beachy waves that used to look dry. Now, whether I get full-on curls or just the waves, my hair looks super hydrated and shiny!

@@DeronEdward I reallly like it, i just used it and my hair detangled so easily, normally i still have to yank out tangles and my hair was already detangled. I finished with the leave in conditioner and i can already see my waves/curls being defined and i havent done any scrunching or anything. I just have to get use to the shampoo not being sudsy like a drugstore one, but thats just me :D Thank you so much, i look forward to watching more of your videos.

It’s a great leave in but I need more than this personally. I section my hair in four quarters and use a couple of sprays on each section, so a lot more than most. It’s a very nourishing leave in for my dry hair.

For sure, it’s all about finding the right balance for your hair type, have your tried the Nutriplenish multi use oil? I don’t have a video yet for it, but it’s really rich, awesome stuff

@@DeronEdward My style is long on top (not as long as yours, but it reaches to my chin when I let it hang straight) but tightly buzzed on the sides and the back. I sometimes pull it into a ponytail but usually I let it hang loose to the sides. I air dry it and it gets curly at the ends. It's very fine and - here's my main problem - it tends to get dry and frizzy, dull and gross without the use of product. I used to use Aveda Dry Remedy oil, which I really liked, because it hydrated well and it kind of doubled as a styling agent because I could slick my hair back with it and let it hang naturally. However, that product made my scalp itch. The stylist at the the salon said I was using too much, that only a couple drops are intended. She suggested I cut back on the amount of the oil and use the Pure-formance for Men grooming clay for styling purposes. The combination of these two products worked pretty well, but the itching persisted, and anyway I feel like I need a general moisturizer beyond just a couple drops of oil. I tried ORS Olive Oil hair lotion (mainly because I was on vacation and had no immediate access to an Aveda salon, and now that everything is closed, the lack of access to an Aveda professional is still a problem, which is why I'm looking at KZfaq videos to figure out what to order online). I really like the idea of a leave-in conditioner, and it certainly hydrated well and didn't itch, but it way too greasy and heavy for my fine hair. I'm thinking of the Nutriplenish leave-in conditioner, which you're discussing in this video. I also like the idea of the Invati line -- I'm not losing my hair, but I want to keep my hair and scalp healthy. That might not be the right product line for me, however. I don't know. This is definitely something to discuss with someone in person ideally because, for one thing, there's a trial-and-error advantage when dealing with someone at a local salon, whereas ordering online kinda assumes you know what the hell you want.
@DeronEdward4 жыл бұрын
Hey Eleatic Stranger! I agree it’s best to be able to consult in person, I appreciate your explanation. If you liked dry remedy oil this might be a great option for you. You’re right it’s hard to know the absolute best solution without seeing your hair. I’d try the nutriplenish leave in, it’s definitely more scalp friendly. You could spray it in or try your trick mixing it in your hand with the clay. Definitely stay away from the clay by itself tho I’d be concerned about too much grip on long fine hair. About the itching, have you considered Pramasana? I’d look at the brush and the scalp cleanser.

Got the travel size of this for Xmas- i just spray it in my hand and then put in my hair- i guess this way I use a bit more than I should 🤔 Love the Brilliant protector, I'm almost out of it.What is the biggest difference between these 2? Besides the price 🙊 and the fact that the Brilliant have a bit of hold. Thanks🤗
@DeronEdward3 жыл бұрын
I’d say the biggest difference is this one is way more hydrating/detangling and the heat protection is more robust, the brilliant is definitely lighter and like you said has some slight hold. If you spray in your hands and apply I would definitely start at the ends and work your way up 😊

I've thick hair and a dry flaky scalp! will this one would be the right pick for me or not! I've been using the Morrocan oil moisture repair conditioner, it did work for a while, and now my hair still feels frizzy and dry just after one day of wash
@DeronEdward2 жыл бұрын
Your conditioner does contain some silicone, I wonder if perhaps it has built up on your hair a bit? Silicone buildup can prevent moisture from penetrating into your hair. Have you tried a deep cleansing shampoo like Aveda Brilliant or Rosemary Mint to reset your hair? I think the Nutriplenish Leave-in Conditioner could help, but if you do have build up from your conditioner you will need to address that first.

@@DeronEdward Thank you, this is helpful. One last thing, can you suggest any hair styling spray for thick straight hair, which causes no or less damage to the hair!?
@DeronEdward2 жыл бұрын
Aveda Air Control is fairly flexible, but any hairspray shouldn’t be damaging to your hair, it just depends on how you are handling it

First of all, love your videos; however, thought you'd e interested in hearing that this product fried my baby fine hair out. Noticed on the ingredient deck that the 3rd ingredient is Hydrolyzed Adansonia Digitata Extract which is a protein and OMG, spraying that high concentration of any type of protein on baby fine hair can and eventually fries and dries your hair out. I now have a pile of dried out frizzy, crispy ends. No other choice but to cut it off.
@DeronEdward2 жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear that, I’ll admit I’m not sure how a protein extract would physically damage your hair on its own, can you tell me more about your haircare routine? Have you tried going back to what you had used before the leave in?
