What's really impactful about this scene is that Rocket doesn't give some wise cracked response, he just says "Maybe I am". He lost almost every friend he ever had. There's only him and Nebula now. He...he just doesn't give a shit anymore.

Honestly, this just be one of my favorite quotes in movies. This made me laugh so much. It’s so simple & exactly what I think someone say upon seeing(what we on Earth of course)would define as a talking raccoon. Let alone after floating in space for days on end.

Honestly, I would've loved to see the reactions of the other Avengers & Okoye when they met Rocket & discovered he could talk. Would they have freaked out? Possibly, but more likely not after facing Thanos's army. This moment was pretty funny & it felt like Tony didn't give a rat's ass that an animal (or at least something resembling an Earth animal) was talking.
