Maybe its because im half latina so i had that influence growing up, but i never understood lazy women. I stay home because this is what my husband wants, but im doing stuff all day. I work 14 hours a day. Im up at 5am to make my husband breakfast and then im getting kids ready, cooking, cleaning, doing laundry. We own a small farm so im also doing farm chores. My work doesnt stop until 7 or 8 at night. Even right now, im listening to this while steam cleaning my couch. I only took a break to write this comment, then its back to it. On top of that, my family and i go to the gym and i workout with my husband 3 nights a week. So im working my butt off and still maintain 118lbs at 5'4". I also still take care of my skin and hair and dress nicely so my husband doesnt have to come home from a long day to an ugly bridge troll. I actually see this laziness more with white women. I know a woman who has a sign in her home that says "dont mind the mess, my family is making memories". She has 1 kid and her house is a disaster. I have 3 kids and 2 large dogs, and my house is immaculate. What "memories" is her kid going to have of his mom when hes a grown man? I know other women who also stay home, and these women dont even get dressed in the morning. They dont even brush their hair. I dont even know how they are married, let alone how they got a man to put a baby in them. It makes me mad because they call me crazy for doing all of this for my husband, but at the end of the day, my marriage is still running strong after a decade while theirs is falling apart.

Why can’t people just listen and do their research after. Why do they care about what Kevin says and want to correct him? I always worry about my weight if I get a bit chubby. My mother would never shut up if I gained weight even my step mother is on my little sister. I don’t know if it is a Jamaican thing but some of those older women who value their beauty, ( both my mom and step mom are hot especially my size 4 mom who was an 8-9), won’t hold their tongue when their daughters get fat or carry themselves badly. Thankfully I’m not lazy. I work out 3-4x a week. For my mental health, physical health, and as a hobby. Im 27, 126lbs and 5’ 4” i would call myself submissive and have become sweeter w/ time. I am very fond of growing and bettering myself. No one is perfect and sometimes life can disrupt but it is not an excuse to let yourself go as a person. I only wear make up on occasion, I’m starting to like dressing more modestly because I do not like cat calling or male gaze. Modesty is a form of self protection. Eat well, treat your body good and be as natural as possible to yourself. One thing I’ll say though is that I do wear wigs, and some are saying it’s lazy which can be the case but wearing wigs is just easier sometimes especially because I workout a lot I need to be able to fix my hair up quickly in between that, taking care of house hold duties and running errands. I’m conjunction to wearing wigs I do take care of my natural hair and wear breads as a protective style. The hair topic I believe is subjective because there are many uses for changing styles. Personally I have dry brittle hair so when it is in a protective style in between ha big my hair out, I am able to care for it better and low manipulation helps w/ hair growth. I do believe the wigs should look closer to your natural hair for day to day looks I haven’t always been this but I have been working on myself all my life throughout the trials and tribulations. I love what Kevin is doing for our community, it is realistic and it will bring us much more value. I encourage everyone don’t lose hope there is ALWAYS room for improvement as a person we are not robots. Above all please put God first, this is the greatest of foundations

What's interesting is I was talking about brother Kevin with my mom (married to my dad for 25 years before me) and she and I agreed with a lot of what you say. She and I didn't understand why people were mad that that brother said he was the prize. I came to the realization that men don't really ask for much at the most basic level. Being a good husband or wife doesn't have to be so difficult when both are trying to be the best asset to their spouse and the world as much as possible. Fit, feminine, Beautiful, submissive, friendly, agreeable, actually wants to help and not just be helped. Basic. Haven't even tapped into the hard stuff yet. I've also realized that, as a human overall but especially a woman, that you get waaaaaay more out of life (and people) if you take responsibility and accountability with both hands. Power comes from responsibility so why women leave their power by the wayside to then gain negative masculine attributes is ridiculous and works against them.

My sisters had half their thyroid taken out. Cutting carbs, bread, pasta, rice and other grains helped one of them lose weight. That is go keto paleo and exercise. Thyroid and hormone problems are related to diet. Black women have higher estrogen levels which causes them to gain weight, have thyroid and fibroid problems. Eating foods that lower estrogen such as cruciferous veggies, weight training , a lot of cardio ( good for preventing thyroid and fibroid problems) and cutting carbs can help a lot. Focus on your health so you can age gracefully and healthy without getting those dietary diseases. One hour of working out will not kill you. Plus kill the attitude. Being combative, loud and highly sensitive will not make your life enjoyable. Read the 4 agreements which will help with the need to be always right and argumentative. This goes for both sexes.

Weight loss happens when you cut back on the portion size of your meals and never, ever eating seconds and thirds. It doesn’t take mounds of food on your plate to feel full and satisfied. It also helps considerably when you remove soda, added sugar and processed foods from your diet. When you do this, that extra weight will disappear in no time. Also, avoid eating desert every night. Eat sweets in moderation. While exercise is important, you can lose weight without exercising. It takes self-control and saying no to overeating, period.

It’s so crazy how on point you are with this personality type. I have a female friend who fits everything to a tee…even within her responses. She responds exactly how you say she will. She’s overweight, a single mom and doesn’t work out at all. If I’m being honest, when she gets off work, she spends her entire evening on the couch, eating and watching tv. If I tell her that not many men want her and it’s going to be hard to find the type of man she wants, she tells me it’s not fair to say that. She says I’m being negative. She has this empty hope that one day some guy will come along and just want to take care of her and her kid. She hasn’t found it yet or even come close, she just thinks it’s going to happen one day. She also tells men that she won’t care if they leave because her son comes before him. I’m honestly reconsidering being friends with her. It’s just hard to interact with her because she’s so delusional. Whenever I prove a point to her, she finds a bunch of ways to disregard it.

Men bound by insulting each other. Women do the opposite and bound by complementing each other. And deep down neither means what they say. That's why 90% of the women who call argue delivery and tone police . And not the actual topic . And when they try they talk in circles and answer questions with questions. It's amazing how many callers fail in identical fashion!

That hair comment is definitely true. I love women with natural hair that gets done!
