The snakehead isn't dwarf it is Barca snakehead(Channa barca) and that is the wildtype they get to ~1m, I saw one at 60cm in Chatuchak once. Not just pretty color as well they actually swim with full fins like that so the way they swim are not like Northern or Giant snakehead and are more like Orangespoted snakehead(Channa aurantimaculata.) They came from Myanmar and cost ~2,000$ to get one here, I suspect they would cost a lot more in the West.
