Jacob knowles is lovely, how he educates people about the rules around lobster fishing is really interesting. Cleaning the barnacles and giving them a snack just makes it wholesome. Casual geographic is one of my favourite channels, i recommend him all the time. I bought his book for my dad

Would you ever do a review of some fishtubers like Paul Cuffaro? Guy now has 3 massive ponds with essentially zero structure in any of them. Tons of algae growth and overstocked fish. I’d argue his poor care is significantly worse than any of these videos due to his wide influence.

Just a recommendation, you should check out the western springs in Florida. I’ve been there myself many times and found giant darters, shinners, freshwater flounder, and much more.

Here in New Zealand we have a place called western springs too, but our one is known more for their massive butterfly enclosures. Wonder if its the same company lol

I was googling stuff about bow fishing, and apparently even bow fishermen are sick of wasteful people. One person was talking about how it's killing the sport, and someone else mentioned they were part of a group that was trying to encourage more people to eat the carp they catch.
