If you think the glory days of classic biplanes are long gone, check out Waco's new YMF-5D, with a full glass cockpit no less. Paul Bertorelli flew it at Sun 'n Fun and says it's a high-zoot hoot.

Wacos can be fully IFR so if you wanted to, you could drop out of the base of a 200ft overcast, taxi up the the FBO and toss your ice and crusted goggles on the counter and say fill her up, try that in your wimpy LSA

I am surprised Paul, that the Jacobs wasn't set up for fuel injection considering the amount of technology in this. Very beautiful ship.

This may be a silly question, but if you do get caught in a storm, do you get wet or does the windscreen force enough air up to keep you dry?

@flykalamazoo You got that right. I talked to a rep last month and a turbo 182 with glass was 425K, and that's not even fully loaded.
