Hi I've now retired Used to be a butcher and cooked cooked meats for shops so now getting into home cooking especially cakes (so suffing the net Lol) But have to tell you I think your KZfaq is really really great !!!

Just made these after I saw the video. I put a bit too much salt in the spice mix but aside from that it's amazing, thanks Titli! I'm not feeling very "Ha-Ha, Yeah, Uh-hmm" though, I have to admit I'm a bit disappointed.

Mmmmmmm....( big thinks in my little brain). now..... if I mixed the flour and spice mix with the beaten egg and coated the floured sliced spuds..... Kentucky 'ish' fried scallops!!!...but would they have the same effect I wonder??? Scallops.... It's a Northern thing!.... Thanks Titli!

haha.... Is that as in American Southern baptist? I'm in Northern UK..... Our fish and chip shops sell battered potato slices ( scallops) but in Southern England you would think it totally alien...

Hey Grumpy Poo. Yes American Southern Baptist. Hate to tell you this but the best E-V-E-R fish & chips I've ever had were in a little bar on the island of St. John in the Caribbean. LOL But maybe my search for fish & chips requires a few dozen more trips to the UK. ;-)

Some people call shredded potatoes that have been pressed into little cakes and deep fried, hashbrowns, tater tots, potato cakes and fritters, ....oh gosh, there are more but I can't think of them right now.

That is only 9 H&S. I thought KFC was 11. Add cumin, corriander, file powder, ground celery seed and...something southern...sassafras...no, file is sassafras, what is missing...? White pepper!!
