Does the icemakers keep the ice cold or does/will the ice begin to melt after it is made?

Great question ! The ice will melt. You MUST remove it from that little tray and get it into the freezer. Not a huge deal - but yes, it would be beyond awesome if they could make a model that would keep the ice frozen ! - That's something I really miss about this ice maker. I guess to do that, the price would triple, and they wouldn't sell many of them. Thanks for watching !!

I purchased this ice maker and am struggling with getting the water from the top reservoir to drain to the button reservoir. Would love to see a video on how you clean the machine and drain all the water afterwards.

Send me a link to the problem and I'll try to help you. You can upload it to KZfaq and then just tag me here. P.S. IF this is a brand new machine and it's mal-functioning I would contact NewAir directly and or Amazon if you purchased it there and get a refund. When you pour water into the top reservoir, it goes directly into the ice making area, so if it's not doing that in your case then something is not right and your machine perhaps it not creating ice either.

@@BakeLikeAPro Thank you for getting back to me. My machine does make ice, no problems there. For the self-cleaning, I press the button for 5 seconds and it starts, runs for 20 minutes, circulates the water like it should... but when the 20 mins is up the water in the top reservoir is still there. How do I get it to go to the lower reservoir so when i unplug the plug on the bottom of the machine all the water, including from the top drains out?

You need to have it plugged in but don't start it. Pull the plug on the bottom and all the water will run out. @@user-hk2mj2kx8u

Good morning Zaigham, I just checked Amazon and they do sell Newair product there. I am in Canada so our selection is limited, but the United States Amazon will have more selection.
