Part 1: • BG Knocc Out on Knowin...
----------
In this clip, B.G. Knocc Out discussed why the phrase "suck my d***" can turn into a fatal altercation. B.G. Knocc Out said that those words are forbidden dating back to kids playing the dozens and now that the mentality is to shoot at the first sign of disrespect it makes sense why people are willing to kill over hearing that.
Later, B.G. Knocc Out and Vlad discuss the psychology behind kids wanting to aspire toward becoming infamous street figures, specifically becoming shot callers from prison.

BG must be hella young because back in the 80's (1983 to be exactly). When I grew up in LA, I got in a fight with a dude and mopped the floor with him, well................... later that day while I was walking home from school, he rolled up on me with 3 of his other gheri curl homies and instead of throw them hands, he pulled out a mac-10 (9mm) handheld machine gun from under his jacket. The only thing that saved my life was the fact that I kept a .25 auto and I was ready to dump the whole clip. When he saw my gun come out, you could see the surprised look on his face. I told him, "I guess we are both about to die today". That was enough for him to put that meat grinder away. Fighting toe to toe played out in the late 60's- early 70's.

@@MK-vi2cm -Facts. Thanx man. Back in the 80's you had to stay ready for anything because gangsters were going "off the rails" crazy. Also, everybody back then knew that even though a .25 was less powerful, if one of those slugs hit you, they bounce around and tear your organs up. At the same time, I knew if he hit me with that miniwiz (mac 10) that I was for sure gonna fall to the ground in a bloody mess. I actually saw my short life flash before my eyes.

@@noediaz143two - I was so happy when I saw that look man, because I swear that was the only thing I had on my side. My other instinct was to run but outrunning a barrage of bullets was not on my list of things I'm capable of doing. He and I knew that all I needed was 3-4 rounds sent his way and to the emergency room he goes. 25 auto is not a gun to be taken lightly.

I'd say the peak for LA gang violence was '86-'96. Shit was still active till about '03. The Pookie he's talking about is in relation to MC Serch from 3rd Bass and how Pookie supposedly protected him from MC Hammer's goons. He's actually called Barefoot Pookie and he's not from Rolling 60's. 💯

Credibility is everything man, for instance if a man punches another man in front of his girl or gets disrespected in front of people he cares about its enough to take it to the next level in the hood. It’s almost expected he React in a negative way in order for him to be respected again. It’s a sad cycle.

Never had anything against guns for protection of ones life however, the men that are taught or believe that shooting instead of fighting because they are afraid of getting beat up is the way to go, are the same men that end up shot and dying with regret that they never knew better. If they shoot because they think they've been disrespected beyond fighting, imagine the disrespect they're about to receive from the judge, correctional officer, cop, inmate, and maybe even their cell mate when you get caught in the system! So essentially you're going to let one disrespectful comment manifest 50 more? Smart! This is not to say fighting is cool either, but you can learn and live through a win or a loss as long as you or the person don't try to kill one another or brag about your win to your friends like your day to get a serious ass whippin isn't going to come at some point! How much do you learn from being dead anyway? I can assure you, your friends will not be thinking about how tuff you were in less than a year! Why, because life goes on and dead people don't! This all stems from fear and weakness in the minds of children without someone to guide them in a better direction! Wars cause death but the responsible party is always alive and free in the end. Why? Because they know misinformed soldiers will die for fights their leaders caused and could've easily avoided. All the while these so called leaders are far from harms way. What does that tell you about weak people? Weak people try to kill when afraid, even weaker people have others kill for them when their scared. The weakest one though, is the one doing the killing and is usually the one that pays the ultimate price!
