This guy is a very great Southern Ethiopian. But Dereje has a sinister motive in conducting some of his interviews. He is picking on key personalities like Lale Labuko and other Ethiopians he chooses to interview. He is asking him what is Ethiopia for him having neglected his people to their fate. It's a good point but Dereje fails to mention in the same context that the government was not actively involved in the lives of other Ethiopians. If any difference the people in South like the people mentioned here are in the remotest part of the country away from access to the education system and still worse for them the cultural practice had plaid to their disadvantages. Nothing justifies what happened to many communities in Ethiopia under the previous regimes like the neglected people of Wollo during the time of devastating famine. I suspect this man is on the same mission as Tesfaye Gebre-Ebab.
@@honestygalor6748 you got some points. It's true communities living in remote areas of the country were left to their fate in some instances but not entirely as you try to make it sound. That said, why do you look at what Dereje is doing from pessimist point of view. He did ask him "what is Ethiopia to you" implying, inspite of the hardship his community faced in their region. Recognizing such heroes from remote regions does not mean there is a sinister agenda. Let's be optimistic and try to create a better nation for all communities.

@@kanyohaye you are suffering from inferiority complex, you're still negative and still thinking with that brainwashed mindset. Stop trying to sound superior cos that's an illusion. Try to be happy and positive so you can attract positive energy.

This person will undoubtedly bring another Nobel Prize to Ethiopia. His works need to be public to the world. Another place to nominate him is for the CNN award. We need to do something.
