a comparison between the two suppressors. is a Surefire worth the money? well thats something to find out. also to be noted. the Rotex X Sf weighs 17.1oz vs the Rc2 at 17oz. B&T's current listing on their website is 23oz, that was a prior model. when mounted the Rotex is 1/2" longer than the Surefire. while overall length is much greater, most of that length is behind the muzzle.

The B&T Rotex isn’t new, being used in Europe by the military for a long time now and proven track record. It’s only new to the US market since they are being produced here now. Great video by the way.

Well the X isn't the V. And the SF X has a 20% reduced weight. So while very similar. The X is newer. Rotex in general has been around a while. But there's many variants.

B&T is one of the oldest and most trusted silencer/supressor manufacturers. They have been around way longer than surefire. Both make excellent shush toobs

The ROTEX lineup has the same track record as the Surefire cans. The same design has been in use in European forces for decades.

They've been around in Europe military for a long time. Essentially very similar to a sf just several hundred dollars cheaper now tht they are here in the states. You can get em for 600iah where sf stuff is 1k they have a nice line up as well

Hit the contact us button on Vbd-retail.com and I'll get in touch with you. We deal with over 28 brands of suppressors. And gain nothing from promoting one over the other. This was purely just based off of our results (Ben in the video) has a handful of SF's and we were expecting the Rotex to be the "Sf at home" but it surprised us. Don't mind how the site looks. We have a new one being built. Our current site doesn't reflect our business well at all.

Never thought of the Rotex of beeing a budget option. It costs more than double of what all the other AR compatible supressors cost here in Germany. Its a cherry red full auto rated monster made from thermax and inconel in switzerland. How can this be the budget option and what the hell are competitors thinking trying to mess with B&T. This thing eats belt after belt on a machinegun while beeing best in class in sound suppression and muzzle signature suppression.

They now make B&T suppressors in the USA. Same materials just made here instead of over there. I just saw this can for $549 US. They did an interview like a year ago where they said "we are gonna manufacture in the US and end up taking over the market". They also said we will offer suppressors cheaper than anyone else at the same quality. They were telling the truth, its crazy. 🤌🤙👌

Not doubting the Rotex quality. But Surefire kind of sets the standard by supplying the US military. I think the big news here, is now it has the option to mount on surefire muzzle devices. In the past few months Surefire SOCOM RC2 have become extremely hard to find.

Why would anyone choose either one of these heavy / gassy / outdated cans in 2023 ?
@vancedosanta5385
@vancedosanta5385 7 ай бұрын
If you think 17oz is heavy, you must have noodle arms. You use ti? That's cool. But your suppressor sparks like the 4th of July.

@@vancedosanta5385 I must have noodle arms because I wouldn't choose either of two heavy/outdated cans? Let me guess just throw a BrT gAs tUbe, or discontinued sF BcG in it and it'll be fine. 🤡... We get it You're trying to push b&t cans, but it's 2023 and the industry has moved on. Ocl, RC3, prt, flowK, etc.

I’m with you, if someone thinks a can is too heavy I’d say start working out your upper body a bit more? I am concerned about the gas blowback being a lefty. I already have right handed uppers so I’m looking at the B&T RBS 5.56….any experience with those? There’s no way in hell I’m paying SF $1,700 for an RC3.

@@vancedosanta5385 did I say I use titanium anywhere in this thread? And why would you choose a 17 oz can when there's lighter / better options, with better performance.
@fivedotfivesix59
@fivedotfivesix59 5 ай бұрын
@@Briathos1 You're completely missing the point. Nobody's saying I'm not strong enough to use a 17 OZ can... I'm saying there's no reason for a can to weigh 17 oz in 2024. 3D printing has changed the game, and traditional baffle cans are a thing of the past. Ask people like Solomon from rooftop defense, or Travis Haley why they switched from RC2s to alternatives like hux cans? It's not because they weren't strong enough to carry 17 oz can.
