My current man made the mistake of bringing his last girlfriend around his ex and she caused her to leave. The girlfriend had a toddler and he had 3 kids and they thought celebrating a birthday all together was a good idea 😆. I would have had two separate birthdays instead of risking separating the relationship, but this was a few years ago. His ex was 42 and his new girl was 28 and he was 33...that ex ain't no joke...but I'm 44 and I know a bit more than them youngins. I've been seeing him the last 2 years now on and off and last week he introduced his 13 year old daughter to me. His ex is gonna flip a top because she thought she had succeeded getting rid of me. Nah...I never wanted to be involved with his family...why you think he's running off all the time to come to me? To have some frickin peace for once 😆

I talked to a guy online who was a divorced single dad of 3 kids. He lived almost an hour away from me and so he decided to pull the plug because of how far we lived with each other. He did mention that him and his ex were kind of at wits end at each other because he didn’t have a consistent work schedule because he worked at a warehouse but she was a real estate agent so of course she had more flexibility in terms of her work hours. I guess I did dodge a bullet! I do also get attached to kids very quick too and one of my friends actually said hey it coulda been worse because you coulda gotten really attached and invested in his kids and it woulda hurt not just you but his kids too and of course him.

Oh yes the grandkids. I’ve been there trust me it does not end when they’re grown and out of the house. They’re always wanting daddy to babysit and of course he’s gonna want to spend time with his grandchildren that’s only natural. But it’s not wrong if you personally choose not to date somebody with children. That’s your personal right. Like men don’t wanna date fat girls some men it’s the same thing we don’t want to date single fathers. Because you never truly get your own time. My entire marriage revolved around his children and then one grandchild and I had to get out of there. I’m child free. I’m very close with my niece and nephew but it’s different that way. They go home with my sister. I’ve been single for a very long time because I just can’t do the kid thing. I’ve tried it several times and it always ends up the same... every time. There are a lot of men out there without children and I’m waiting for God to bring that man to my life. I’ve spent my whole life stepping aside for other people constantly it’s about time I think about myself for once. I was in a deep depression in that marriage. They didn’t mind taking my money but yet I had all these rules I had to follow in my own house from the baby mama.

I'm seeing one with 3 kids and it's pretty much the same, but I have my own life and goals so the time apart is the time I get my stuff done. We never talk or mention his ex ever because I'm not about to go there. Once he steps into my house it's me and him time so if he has any issues with her he needs to work them out in his own time, not on my time. I'm not even official cause his ex is just that petty. They're Facebook official because they have a huge extended family and friends and they want to keep up appearances for the kids I guess. This has been this way 2 years. Last week he introduced me to his 13 year old daughter and I advised against it because his ex knows my name and thought she was able to keep me out of the picture when he told his family about me 2 years ago. Well, I guess we'll see how this turns out. They got divorced 6 years ago and I guess she thought he would marry her again...I don't even want to get married cause I don't need no legal mess with childsupport or anything else. My Facebook status is still single as a Pringle 😆

She just said that she doesn't come with baby daddy drama so I'm guessing she's doing it 100% on her own and not co-parenting with anyone why should she have to watch her BF going to another womans house to play house with their child when she's not doing that with the man of HER child? That's not even equal. Even if the single father were to marry her she would still have to watch her husband spilt his time between two homes. How is that fair if she's not spilting her time between two homes and co-patenting. Two single parents who are both co-parenting is equal dynamic not one parent co-parenting and the other one is not... It leads to resentment and anger. 2.) My single mom friends of ONE child all got married to men with no children...bought a house and now are expanding their families. Two of them are now stay at home mothers. Their husbands make good money. Everyone is under ONE roof and no one is co-parenting and going to another persons house to play house or sleep with and ex. I think that's why the original commentor said she doesn't want a single dad and she's allowed to have that.
