Also did it drive anyone else crazy that Peter got so distracted by Victoria’s whiny tantrum that he never made her actually address anything or explain her side!? She 100% said she was going to say she’s falling in love to deflect.

Ew no I absolute dislike Victoria. She is my least favorite contestant to ever be on this franchise. She’s so mean and manipulative.

I actually like Hannah Ann but she seems like she was factory made for Peter and it kind of throws me off. Both adventurous, both have moms that cry a lot, both live with their parents, both brunettes, both are very communicative, both are just overall vanilla it a lot of ways. I hope we see more of their relationship develop and I'm kinda hoping she wins because him and Madison are just not a great fit outside of pressing their foreheads together.

Peter must have PTSD from last season. Hannah was warned about Luke almost every week and she really didn't take it to heart. That may be the reason why he is willing to listen to the drama. He wants to take everything into consideration so he doesn't keep a Luke P around only to find out all the warnings were true.

I'm sad that Kelsey was sent home, but he just wasn't as into her as she was him. Honestly of all of the girls from the season who made it far enough, I hope that Kelsey is the next bachelorette. She was able to overcome champagne-gate, and Tammy, and honestly looked pretty good at the end of the season. She's emotional and can become unhinged at times, but she never sold-out anyone (only ever addressed things with Peter after other girls started things to clear her name/things up), and she was always honest in her conversations. I mean she and Hannah Ann were besties by the time she leaves, which is crazy when you see how things started between them. After the dust settled, she was always mature and rational in the handling of tough situations (a quality very important for the bachelorette to have as she would need to manage a whole house of men). She's also older, and honestly, we don't need any more 24-year-old bachelorettes... At that age, you aren't desperate for marriage (kind of the point to go on a show where you are willing to compete with 20 something girls for a singular guy's hand in marriage...) and don't necessarily know what you want/need in a partner. Kelsey is 28, and shes had a lot of life experience to bring to the show. Additionally, unless they pull from previous seasons, or girls sent home early, the choices are two twenty-three-year-olds (one of whom is also named Hannah-- two Hannah seasons in a row...?-- the other who is super religious-- they can't have a season of all Christian guys-- that is a lawsuit waiting to happen) and a girl who is gaslighting the bachelor (and may have broken up marriages).

Kelsey for Bachelorette! She wouldn’t paint a perfect picture.... that’s what the show needs. A lead who’s not going to give a perfect response to everyone. I think she’d bring an interesting dynamic, tears and all.

I wish someone would recap Sean Lowe's season. He's the only Bachelor to actually marry the woman he picked as his first choice and they've been married 6 years and have 3 kids now. So they're an actual success story. Also Catherine is only one of three WOC to be picked as the final choice by a Bachelor. The other was Tessa Horst from Season 10 with Andy Baldwin and Mary Delgado from Season 6 with Byron Velvick which both didn't work out. Edit: And also as noted in a reply, Sean chose not to sleep with any of the women in the fantasy suites. The back story is that after college he decided to commit himself more to his faith, be celibate and wait to have sex until marriage. His faith and his decision wasn't really talked about on the show and it wasn't focused on either. But he truly was there to find a wife.

Can someone PLEASE explain to me how it not okay for Madisson to say that if Peter sleeps with someone else it will be hard for her to continue. How is it different when Hannah Ann's dad asks Peter not to tell his daughter that he loves her or whatever in order to protect her if she is not "the one". Equally, I think, Madisson is trying to protect herself if she is the one. I mean sleeping with someone, and telling someone that you love them are both intimate expressions. Peter can, in the same way, decide that having sex before marrying someone is too important for him to not do, and as a result send her home. Or is there something that I am not getting here?

According to Reality Steve, Peter did ask for permission (and he wasn't given permission from all the dads- won't name which), it just wasn't shown and Merissa did specify that Victoria F. broke up marriages but that was also not shown/played and that explains why her face was blurred cuz it would have made the audio splicing more evident.

Thank you for addressing the depravity that is the decision to have these women stay in the same damn suite during fantasy week. Is it not enough for this production team to let Madison and Peter have an honest conversation with each other without having to emotionally terrorize Madison on top of that? Also, I don't think there's anything wrong with the ultimatum Madison supposedly gives him. She communicates like an adult to the man she's dating that she will have to remove herself from this situation if he has sex with or has had sex with other women after she's been clear of where she stands on the subject. I think that's valid. I think that's mature. And, quite frankly, I think that's the normal and healthy...for the both of them.

I completely agree with your opinions on victoria. Its super toxic, but she has a way stronger connection than the other 2 left. Everyone I know who watches the show complains about her every week, and I can see that it's toxic and they should break up, but she actually doesn't bother me that much to watch. We are very different personalities, but I feel like I can understand her and it seems more realistic than the others? I don't know, Tammy was the only one I actually liked, and victoria was the only other one that didn't bother me. I feel like she would be super frustrating from Peter's position, but as a viewer basically every other girl got on my nerves more, or were just non-entities in the season. All in all though, definitely one of my least favourite casts in the 12 years I've been watching. and a big part of that might have been production's unwavering focus on drama over romance.

I think the situation with Luke/Hannah is very different from Madison/Peter. Luke basically told Hannah she couldn't sleep with anyone, it was controlling of him, telling her what she could and could not do. He also pretty much told Hannah she wasn't a Christian if she had sex before marriage. It was his attitude and controlling nature. It seems as though Madison is simply following her beliefs saying that she probably can't move forward with Peter if he has slept with anyone else during the course of their relationship (which I honestly agree with). She is not shaming Peter like Luke did with Hannah, and she is not telling Peter what he is allowed or not allowed to do. She is simply making a decision for herself. The problem with the Luke/Hannah situation was not that Luke was going to leave if Hannah had sex with somebody else (because that's not a crazy thing honestly), the problem was the way he was controlling and shaming her, saying she can't be a Christian if she does this specific thing, and that basically she wasn't living up to his "Godly" standards. With Luke/Hannah, the focus was on Hannah not acting the correct way (according to Luke), and with Madison/Peter, the focus is on Madison making a decision for herself based on her beliefs, which isn't wrong of her. I also don't think Luke's Christian beliefs were what people had a problem with but instead the way he portrayed those beliefs as well as his behavior/attitude.

Hey broads, Charity from central Iowa where Kelsey is from. We do have wineries here, several actually across the state. But they are on a different scale and would be different to Californians. Check out the Amana Colonies in west central Iowa. There are also several others across the state. As far as the grapes used, I’m also scratching my head. But I will say that when this would have been filmed in real time we were heading into the cold snap of fall so that probably had a lot to do with it. I’m not a wine connoisseur so my knowledge is pretty basic. Love listening to you every week :)
