I disagree that Peter’s response to Madison about his faith was 100% honest. I think he gave her the answer that would appease her without fully lying. And then quickly threw out the “I’m falling in love” thing to deflect.

I love you guys so much because I can always count on you to notice the stupid details I find so hilarious. Madison’s spider mascara, Peter wrapping himself around her like a scarf, his horrible dancing, the furs, his hilarious reaction to the desert, and the phantom of the opera. I got a good laugh listening to you describe these. This made my house cleaning so much more enjoyable.

I think the " you're so real and genuine " comment is kind of evident that Maddison is not gonna end up with Peter. The fact that she's worried about how she's gonna look and that she want to keep the good image she had is maybe due to the fact that she doesn't end up with Peter and she wants the other opportunities that this show might lead her to

This is one season where I am actually happy when my favorites go home. I would never want Natasha or Kelley to be with Peter they are just on another level. And it is so weird that he rewards the drama so much. He loves a messy and difficult relationship like Kelley said. But in Hannah's season he was one of the only ones who stayed out of all the drama and didn't try to confront Luke. He is 100% different than what they showed on her season.

this podcast is officially the (media) highlight of my week! literally sometimes this season, I've been like ugh I don't know i'll skim through the episode, but then I think "but I want to be able to laugh at all the jokes in the chatty broads podcast, so I'll power through" lololol. This makes me laugh SO FREAKING hard and honestly in stressful times like these, it's nice to have those pieces of light joy/laughter. I laughed too many times to count, but some highlights (Hannah Ann's disney channel actor who draws out a mickey head -style (ajdfljdlj); as well as the hannah ann clone theory; the post-head trauma "Squinty Peter" observation ). I also agree that FIVE OUT OF THE SIX girls seem much more likable now. and that somewhat shockingly considering my first impression, Kelsey might be my fave. She is a bit messy when drunk (but who isn't), but she's very relatable to me and surprisingly thoughtful when sober lol.

Is it possible that she originally applied wanting to be on Colton's season and just ended up getting the call later down the road? It would make so much more sense haha

I disagree that Peter was being honest to Madison. Although he did admit that he’s not as religious as her, I feel like he played up his religiosity just a bit to appease her. I think he was surprised at how much her faith is a part of her life and you’re right he will be shocked at home towns

Totally agree with Jess...Kelley's sound bite at the end sounded choppy and put together by production; and it's super unnecesary and annoying because they really don't need more drama. Man oh man I used to really like Peter, but I really don't anymore. & I'm at the point of not liking The Bachelor franchise. & I've been watching for so many years. The contestants just get younger & it is clear that 90% of them simply want a career after the show & don't actually want anything from being on. As a 35 year old, they are quickly losing their target audience. Last night on ET, Peter told Lauren Zima he pretty much equates crying to showing him emotion when asked why he gives crying girls the rose every time. The thing is, crying is how one handles emotion, it isn't indicative to the emotion someone feels. He is incredibly immature on so many levels. Every girl left is incredibly immature on so many levels. It's like the show isn't even a guilty pleasure anymore. It's gotten so cringe worthy I don't want to watch it. But I will say, I fell asleep watching & was woken to a loud GASP from my husband, who as appalled he sent Kelly home. & then he was appalled at himself for watching the show. 😂🤣

I was considering that if Peter already is pretty sure he will pick Madison, then maybe thats why he is letting certain people go before hometowns , its actually kind to let them go . also he may not really be interested in two of the four but has calculated they r the best to do hometowns and then cut. I think Peter TRIED to be honest, but I don't think he spent enough time to to actually think about what she was asking/telling him. I think the conversation was a really good one and I'm glad they aired it, but I don't really think he is capable of of being the religious partner Madison wants. Shes going to be leading him by a LONG SHOT and I think she is wanting a leader. Just like how her dad led her family, she doesn't want to lead him, she wants him to. I think you're right about how hes going to be shocked at how her family lives the christian lifestyle vs how his family does. I think if he does pick her, it wont take long to realize there needs to be a massive compromise on one of their ends or that its not going to work. Christianity is claimed by many and the format many choose to follow is drastically different depending on so many things. I don't think he was outright being dishonest. I just don't think he actually comprehended what that looks like. Im a little surprised too that she still came on the season knowing thats what she wanted when I don't think Peter has ever portrayed himself as a super religious person.

Mmm.. I gotta disagree about the Hannah Ann and love thing, and this is why. On the first episode i think, she said something about her last relationship being more physical than emotional and how she is looking for her best friend too. Something like that. Her captions with her ex say all sorts of i love yous and you’re the best boyfriend ever and I’m the luckiest girl etc etc. They broke up like 2 years ago which is gonna make her like 21. Yes I understand the concept of loving someone and being in love with someone however, even in my worst relationships I could never say that I wasn’t in love with them. I may have fallen out of love... yea but saying that I was never in love with them especially if we were together that long and saying i love you would be a damn lie. Just because the person didn’t end up being a life long relationship doesn’t discredit the love that way there at one point. Being in love isn’t always this forever thing. Also.. if she has never been in love... how would she be able to tell that what she has with peter is real love? lol especially since they are in this uber romantic unrealistic setting? I’m sorry but I just call bs lol she either is reaching to make what peter and herself have look more special by discrediting her past love, or she is very naive to what being in love is..... I’m a Christian and I saved myself for marriage and after 3 kids while in escrow and nursing I found out my 27 yr old husband was having an affair. We were both Christians and 27yrs Old. I remarried 13 1/2 yrs later- and had 2 more kids. Things definitely happen we can’t predict- but when your that young you never think it could happen.
