Our poor KZfaq channel has been so neglected... a quick update now that we're back on the road in the van, having left Y-Not behind for summer storage in Florida.

We're Cherie & Chris and we've been full time technomads since 2006. We are owned by Kiki (meow).
We have a fleet of nomadic vessels that we split our time between - a 1961 GM 4106 vintage bus, a 1999 Bayliner 4788 motor yacht and a 2016 Travato 59G van conversion. You'll find RV, van and boat life content here, as we feel inspired to share - sometimes topical, sometimes travelogues, sometimes just hanging out.

After you come into Mich in the lower peninsula I'd suggest swinging over to the coast of Lake Michigan. Hit any of Petosky, Charlevoix, Traverse City, Ludington, Saugatuck or South Haven.

Drive past Sault Saint Marie to Wawa to get great views of Lake Superior. The Canadian side of Niagara Falls is a must. And if you like the urban vibe, spend a few days around Toronto's neighbourhoods like Little Italy, The Danforth and Kensington Market.

I am not a Facebooker but I followed you there today. Today, Hurricane Ian is crossing Florida and my thoughts are with you and your family/friends as Stanford is probably a direct hit.

Glad to see you are going back out on the road! Us too. Of course, different directions! We are headed east from NV to Great Basin NP , the Wedge, Flaming Gorge through WY, CO, NE on our way to VA to see family. Down to NC, up to NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA the up to Maine. If you go to Maine, get a lobster. We are going to check out Acadia NP.

Did you get a chance to visit Kentuck Knob when you were at Fallingwater? We like the other Frank Lloyd Wright house in that area. The Usonian Designs just seem more livable to my wife and I.

Falling Water is a cool place to see some amazing architecture. As a lifelong Michigander, here are some places that are worth seeing: Soo Locks, Picture Rock, Tahquamenon Falls, Mackinac Island in the UP, and then drive the coastline from Petoskey, Traverse City, to Sleeping Bear Dunes, and continue down the "Gold Coast" through the resort towns along the way: Ludington, Grand Haven, Holland, Saugatuck, South Haven, St. Joseph, Warren Dunes State Park, etc. There's also lots of kayaking and canoeing opportunities and foodie places throughout the state as well. Enjoy and safe travels!

So great to see your happy faces! I'm assuming you are surviving the brutal heat/humidity by hooking up your A/C to shore. Am amazed you can find open weekend spots... but camping in this heat is suffering for most so maybe cancellations? Miss your travel videos but am glad to hear that you are immersing yourselves more in the present moment without the distraction of filming. Safe travels!

Looks like Kiki is already enjoying being outside (she was in the video behind you). We love all three forms of our travels, which is why we keep the van, boat and bus. We recently did a video on our 'fleet' with more.

Not sure we have much of a 'float plan'. Pretty much we just head north up the St. Johns, then turn left onto the ICW. :) We plan each day as we go.. but have documented our two trips up and down in video and blog if you want to check out the various stops we've made in the past.

@@Technomadia was more looking to pick your brain going through Nassau, St Andrew's sounds those other areas that open to the ocean. Looking at the charts with depths and tides in those areas makes me wonder. Nothing like a reality check with someone with experience... 😃

We have three options at our disposal: Starlink, an old AT&T unlimited hotspot plan and a 100GB T-Mobile plan that all roam there. Looking forward to seeing what works.

Your route through Michigan will take you right by my house. If you need a boondocking site in Lansing let me know I have an apartment building where you can stay in the parking lot.
