I order my EP5 last Friday and they emailed me and said UPS will deliver it this Thursday

I have purchased scopes from Arden in the past, and I have three purchases currently waiting. Just be patient. They are great scopes, and just wait for the results.

Ran into one of the Arken leads at SHOT this year, great guy very appreciative of me as a customer. Awesome to see some small companies in the firearms industry competing with the larges. Great video, thanks for putting it out!

My 1 Arken experience said 4-6 weeks and I had it in a week. But I wasn’t in a hurry. Definitely was a surprise to get it so quick. I was expecting a long wait.

Thanks Bob.,. and yea this summer we had a pretty good supply and quick email response times and optics in folks hands in about a week or less. .. we are working best we can. Hang with us it is worth it. Also, the free brake was for early order folks I think before 7/25/23 because of the extension of time.

I ordered an LH 4 they said 4 to 6 weeks lead time. I'm good with that. I received it within 2: weeks of my order. Quality looks good! I have not had it to the range yet.

Something I failed to include. Most will conclude if there was a wait it is well worth it in the end. The EP5 is truly a fantastic Optic. I'm certain you are going to like it.

I've played with Venom. I would put it akin to a gen1 sh4. Your going to live the EP5. It's a beast!!!

Thanks for doing this video. I want to love this company. Ordered EP5 a week ago. Don't "need" for a few months so no problem with timeliness. Hope they don't break my heart so to speak. Maybe see you around.

I just hope With the influx of orders the company doesn't let quality slip! I ordered a Zulus about 5 weeks ago and am expecting quality when it gets to me! I haven't e-mailed them, they said they will inform me when it ships so it was supposed to be 6 -8 weeks ,I'll leave it at that.

I'm backordered 6 weeks. Should I be worried about quality control from "the garage band" if they are this behind on orders? Thanks for your post and video.

I would not think so. The back orders are in some cases from shipping situations but more recently simply running out product from sales and increased scopes sold. Hold tight when you get it you will be pleased.

How far will that zulus view out!? I just bought mine. I got 6-8 weeks wait time. But I’m curious how for out I’ll be able to hit a target. Hoping it’ll be 1000+ I’m excited! I should have it by deer season!

Day...infinite. night....400 is plenty clear. 500-600 would be about max viewing. I personally wouldn't shoot over 300-350. It does gather any available light.

@@RugerGundog for hunting definitely wouldn’t shoot past 300-450 max. But I was thinking about the shooting range at 1000 yards during the day! I think i made go good selection. It’s going on a christinsan arms 7prc

Ordered the EP5 on November 24, 2023 and it still says “awaiting processing”. When I ordered the optic it said 1-2 week lead time. Not sure why they are selling optics that they don’t have inventory for.

I’ve emailed Arken twice over a warranty issue with my EP-8 LPVO and have not received a response in almost 3 weeks. I’ve emailed the correct address so I don’t understand the lack of response

@@RugerGundog yes, did not read the fine print. Think Amazon has ruined me wrt expectations. Also, if ordering from other optics companies shipment normally occurs in 24 hours or less. Have a hunt, already have enough scopes, but was looking at putting this one to the test since I do not get to night hunt hogs but once a year.

@@RugerGundog Believe it or not they came through and I received my optic from them before my hunt. Just set it up and it looks AWESOME. Cannot wait to mount it, shoot and see how it performs at night.

So does lead time tend to mean the time it will ship to you in your experience? You weren’t that clear when covering that part?

Lead time is time for Arken to get them to the Arken Wharehouse.

Good information. But I think they should be putting out something like this! They have been slow to deliver since they first started! I bought my EP5 when you got the free goody bags included scope rings levers flip up scope caps and other items. They stay small to keep their overhead low. It takes a lot of money to design new scopes. I do believe however that there are a lot of the same scopes being mfg. under different company names with little changes to just make them different but not by much. Overall a Great Product for all shooters.

I've noticed there is no delay in hitting my credit card. Aside from that, I'm a fan. When my current 3 scopes finally arrive, I'll have 10 of them.

Here's a thought. Don't sell something you don't have. Been waiting on a mount and would have gone a different route if they were upfront about availability. Growth is great but broken promises will come back to haunt you. If order something I expect in a reasonable amount of time unless warned otherwise. Don't want after the fact delays and if you're content in jumping through hoops to find where your purchases are at that's your option. Average consumer doesn't want to jump through hoops when it comes to orders. Arken. Get in or get out. Very disappointed despite this cheerleader!

I believe they are quite transparent about availability and hold ups they are in control of. They will also promptly refund your money if you don't want to wait for it. I suggest you give then a email to get your funds back. Someone else will appreciate the bump in line I suppose, lol.

well the thing is, ive ordered stuff from arken, had a 6-8 lead and i got my scope in 3 days, and then ive ordered stuff thats been "available" and waited at least a month, its nbd. pretty much a flip of the coin.

Arken is like waiting on a tax stamp for your suppressor. It could be 5 hours or it could be 12 months. 😂 it just appears one day.

"Compensation thing"? any company that has a compensation model is bad business. I'm waiting on my EP8, on week 5, during this wait I have purchased 2 other LPVOs. I'll gladly wait for my EP8, but needless to say, I'm no longer interested in Arken after this purchase. So many other better options out there, even if they are a couple hundred dollars more and you get them within a weeks time.

I do understand the delays. But do agree some corporate updates on webpage be good. I know ep8 wait in past they were very good at mass emailing updates.

@Rugergundog I'm not bad mouthing them whatsoever, I can't say much since I don't even have it on hand, but that front end experience dictates alot on customer experience and return purchases.

Sounds like a shill response to me. What? You expect to receive the product you paid for with in the window provided by the company? How dare you! I made a scope purchase in the first week of Dec with a 4-6 week lead time. It’s been 6 weeks and I emailed Arken to get an idea when it will ship. I was told 4-6 weeks…. I responded so 8-12 weeks then? Because it was 4-6 when I gave them my money. The person responding had an attitude telling my they’ve had “1000s of orders” and “run out of stock several times”. It’s not even an expensive scope for my 17HMR, but it’ll probably be the last Arken I’ll buy, if I even get it…

Not defending the not living up to delivery dates or better communication of updates. However to interpret "attitude " in an email is a bit of a stretch. Seeing the CS guys been overwhelmed by people asking for updates I would suggest more frustration on the CS guys part. But I feel you I'm waiting on 3 myself. But...seeing what i shared its fair the dates are usually longer.

The problem becomes when you tell a consumer thats its a 1-2 week lead time when it's actually a 1-16 week lead time. That's a shitty business practice.

I agree. However the real issue is more of not enough communication updates on the vendor sight or via email. Now..due to all this attention there has been some improvements...at least a step in right direction. I do my best to keep it real for potential buyers. Great products...but can be slow. I try let folks know that going in. Thanks for the comment.
