I've seen BWF clips of international players use the same movement. Give or take slight variations in the arm movement to generate more power while in the air. But the pronation and technique is very much similar & important.

No you should not! depending on situation your base will be changed from the centre point 1meter 50cm can be your base. If you try to go back to the centre base every time regardless situation, it is wrong to do that. Lee

Means, at the net i should move according to the situation .If i play close to the net then i should wait ,but if i play loose to the net then i should move a little back.But at the backcourt i should always return to the center after every shot before my opponent hits the shot is this right?

@@neelanggoswami7671 I would say so yh, cuz you don't wanna leave whole front court exposed and then when opponent does a drop shot you're dead. So returning to centre when playing a back court clear is a good idea based on that.

Practice is the answer. If you practice a lot, you will see shots faster and be able to move faster. The players who do that have done a lot of practice. It is same you can do it very well after much of practice. Lee

Sir, i faced some problems related to below stated topics . a) when to tap the service i sometimes hit the top net. b) same problem with the service too, as try to hit as much close to top net and sometimes hit the net. c) Very bad at net shots, feel nervous when get shuttle at net n try to play as much low return as possible, so that cnt get killed but eventually Racquet get stuck at my palm and cant play anything d) same problem happens with backhand, feel very very nervous n play a awkward shot How to solve these???

I think the issue is that you are trying too much and too hard to hit the shuttlecock too close to the net and making mistakes. You should try to hit not too close to the net. You should play the whole match rather then focusing too much on a detail during the match which is distroying your match. Look at the whole tree rather then try to look a small thing of the tree. Before backhand smash you should practice other shots first. Lee

Jayanta Talukdar in my opinion backhand smash isnt very useful, if you go to professional internacional competition no one does backhand smash

Jayanta Talukdar but of course its good to learn it its just that (in my opinion) if you go backhabd thats because you are late therefore there its not possible to do a smash, overhead smash is a way better and more powerful, also backhand smash should be the last hitting skill to learn
