അത് തെറ്റായ ഒരു ധാരണയാണ്. കുറഞ്ഞ സൂര്യപ്രകാശത്തിൽ ഉത്പാദനം ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും കൂടിയ അന്തരീക്ഷ താപനില ഉള്ള സമയങ്ങളിൽ പുതിയ ടെക്നോളജിയിൽ ഉത്പാദനം കുറവാണ്. ചുരുക്കത്തിൽ വാർഷിക ശരാശരി എടുത്താൽ രണ്ട് ടെക്നോളജിയിലും ഉത്പാദനം ഏകദേശം തുല്യം തന്നെ. എന്നാൽ സ്ഥലപരിമിതി ഉള്ളതും നിഴൽ വീഴുന്ന സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും യൂറോപ്യൻ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലേതു പോലെ മഞ്ഞുവീഴുന്ന സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും പുതിയ ടെക്നോളജി ഉചിതമായിരിക്കും. എന്നാൽ നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടിൽ മുടക്ക് മുതലിൽ വരുന്ന വലിയ വ്യത്യാസവും സബ്സിഡിയും കൂടെ നോക്കുമ്പോൾ സാമ്പത്തീക ലാഭം ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ പഴയ ടെക്നോളജിയാണ്. മുടക്ക് മുതൽ 2 - 3 വർഷം കൊണ്ട് തിരികെ ലഭിക്കും.

Nalla interview... Adding to that, if we use latest solar cell technology, the efficiency (24%) is increasing and apart from less space consumption, the cost of mounting structure also less & labour cost also less (this is more effective for commercial projects than residential solar project). And other point is that, never relay on feed in tariff (receiving cash from gov. for our solar production) concept, because if gov. reach target of good gross installation rate of solar, then automatically government will move to next step as to reduce the FIT rate or they will go with Net metering (Depends on political & energy policy). Better always, maintain the level of consumption from KSEB & production from solar is almost equal. Also, while charging EV cars from home solar, ensure its in day time where sun is available, meaning, we must give attention on load shifting concept. Otherwise solar is not worth for us. Except new invention in lead acid with carbon tech battery, to reduce battery price, then off grid solar system is super beneficial for us. However, high battery price in current scenario, the economic payback period is higher.

As far as my knowledge electricity produced by the customer is exported to grid and for consumption we have to buy from grid and both have different tarrif .

Disadvantages of ON GRID Solar are 1. Electricity will be automatically cut when no current in the KSEB grid. Hence Inverter is to be kept. 2. From 6PM to 6AM solar on-grid will get cut automatically and electricity to be used from the KSEB grid ONLY

1. it's not disadvantage it's safety Purpose if the inverter will not cut off at the time of power cut the current will go through the grid it will make accidents And for solutions you can choose hybrid power plants 2. No , we make needed units between 6pm to 6 am you consider kseb as a battery bank we can see the exporting units and importing units from the net meter the kseb making bill basis of this

You can go for hybrid system for your first point is concerned. Whatever you produce the power during day time is used and excess power you export to the grid. That will be credited in your account. And at night you use normal grid supply. Finally at the end of year or when the auditing takes place, if you have used extra power than you produced in a year, then you have to pay for that much units. If vice-versa money will be credited in your bank account.

@24: The logic is correct both of them (poly and mono crystalline) are producing same unit of electricity. but why do you insist on old technology? MONO crystalline has its own advantages ( 1) half cut mono panels will work with low amount light when compared to poly crystalline. 2) Since it is split into two ie, in half cut MONO panels, even if one side of the panel is within shadow, other side works. 3) also current technology is monoperc bifacial panel. It's nothing but if the downside of this panel is exposed to light or reflection it will produce little energy. ) The thing is mono perc half cut panels will be 2-4k more when compared with poly crystalline.

Yes you said it right.. mono perc/half cut is ideal when installation is in shaded area. If shade is not there your payback period is longer compared to the old technology products. Sir, now central govt is giving subsidy with multiple objective, the one is to give emphasis or encourage to Indian make products. In India no monoperc cell is manufactured so the subsidy is eligible for old technology products at present. There are large number of Indian manufacturers are working on monoperc cell manufacturing in India and may be in few months monoperc DCR modules would be available
