Hello and welcome to BakieGaming.
In this Bakies The Sims 4 Custom Content Series, I will show you everything I made for the Sims 4.
I will show you where to find it in game and give some tips and tricks on how to use them.
- Eco Lifestyle - Windows + Deco Slots - Overrides -
When looking through the objects that came with the Eco Lifestyle Expansion pack, I noticed that objects couldn't be placed on the window sills.
As using the Moveobjects on cheat doesn't always work the way I wanted to, I decided to make some window overrides with additional small and medium deco slots.

You're welcome! I do need to update the short angled box window though as EA has fixed it in their latest patch, but it's still broken in my version. ;) Will be doing that some where this week. :)

I love this override. Thank you so much. Unfortunately, the short angled window broke with the last patch. You can still place objects, but the window box is invisible from inside the building.

Hi Amanda, well the thing is the other way around more or less... The window was already broken before the last patch, but with the latests patch it got fixed by EA and now my version still shows as broken, so I need to update it. Will do that some where this week. ;)

Are there any CC that copies pack items without having to own the pack? I've seen some of the CAS options that didn't make the cut for voting from Tiny Living made into CC.

There shouldn't be as that should be illegal. If people made CAS items theirselfs from scratch but only used an example from the voting that's fine of course. But making an exact copy of a pack item working for base game isn't allowed.

Hey I really love your mods, especially the helicopter and sharks. Can you please make a animated airplane mod similar to the helicopter? that would be so awesome. like those airplanes that be flying in the game. It would be cool to have your own airplanes flying in and out your airport. Or have your own personal private jet with an animated door stairs that comes down, and then close up. Not sure if that's possible but I would love to see a mod like that.

Hello! My animated mods are all effects made by EA and already visible some where in the game. So yes, the airplanes like in game possibly could be made into an object that spawns them, but I can't make a personal jet with door stairs that come down. That would have been great though! ;)

BakieGaming That’s awesome. You should do it. I’d love to have a mod like that even if it’s just to spawn in and out. Please can you make that. I’m sure everyone would love that mod.

I can place the idea on the list, but it's a very long list already with lots of things to make and right now I'm working on something bigger too. So I'm not sure when this will arrive. ;)

Have these been updated since they were broken by the EA windows and doors update? the SIms 4 studio batch fix didn't work on them completely

These haven't been broken at all by the patch, so you can use the files added in the description. ;)

Cool! I just have one question, does this mean my Sims can put 60 empty plates on top of those windows? Or are those different slots? x)

If an object can be placed onto a table, then you can also place them onto these windows. I don't know which plate you mean, but if it can be placed on the same spot on a table as the plant or the pumpkin I used can, then those plates should fit into the slots too. :)

@@bakiegaming Haha yeah I meant that when my Sims finish eating, they like to leave their dirty plates on shelves, on half walls and everywhere around the house where there are deco slots. Then the plates sometimes start to stink if I overlook them and don't drag them into the trash can. My Sims are so messy! But that's OK, I can use the invisible slot filler CC object to cover up the slots I won't be using :)

@@wykkyd_og Well, I guess most custom content doors and windows are still broken, but as these are overrides I guess that's the reason they still work..although I don't understand why as they're overrides of the 'old' window versions.. ;)
