Ballard County Boatwright WMA Gravel Ride

Күн бұрынJoin us for a gravel ride in the Boatwright Wildlife Management Area, in Ballard County, close to the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers, just north of Wickliffe, KY. We only rode about 16 miles, but there is much more gravel to be had out here. This route is 100% gravel.

Western Ky has had a lot of rain this year with storms coming northwest from Iowa thru southern Illinois to western Kentucky so these last couple rides you’ve done I’m sure have been wet…

That river bottom gravel sure is nice. I only scratched the surface when I was out there as well. Thanks for promoting all things bikes and GRAVEL! Hope to see ya's back for another bikepacking adventure. GearUp Cycles is hosting a S24O soon.

Oh, nice. Are they going to use the April Fool's Gravel Camp route or do something different?

@@KentuckyCycling Route is going to be different. There will be 2 routes to choose from, both going to same spot. MTBrs will ride the dirt and the Gravelheads will ride the chert. I'll keep ya posted with more deets.
