This song is a reaction to their recent American tour. It's a love song to their fans.They know we love them and they return that love. I saw them in Chicago and will see them in Nashville in May. Seeing them live was a very emotional experience. I'm 70 years old and BAND MAID makes me smile,laugh and cry- they make me feel.They care so much for their fans that they write us love songs!!!! Never in my life have I cared so much for a band. Five angels sent to us to make us happy. THANK YOU BAND MAID!!!!! Try their Christmas acoustic concert- stunningly beautiful. Thank you sir for your enthusiastic reactions. Band Maid is love.

Patrick, I love your comment. I am 50's, and what I can say is that the BAND MAID is the band which a lot of kids grew up with rock music have been waiting for long time.

This song is a love letter to their fans in America. Kanami wrote it during their recent tour of America. Amazing how she managed to write something like this while they played every 2 days in a new city. Pure poetry. Do you want a ballad masterpiece? Try "Daydreaming" from them ;)

The concert footage is from their show at Tokyo Garden Theater in Jan. which streamed. They are releasing that show on Blu-ray in April with pre-orders being done now at some Japanese stores like CD Japan and their label, Pony Canyon's site.

There's a 14 song acoustic set they streamed back on xmas day 2021 which shows another facet of the sparkling jewel that is Band-Maid. There's also the heart-wrenching duet by Saiki and Kanami (and, boy, does Kanami have a very fine voice too), with just Kanami's acoustic guitar, Anemone...but that's on another site, though I'm sure you can find the link. More easily available are 'Wonderland' live and 'Daydreaming' MV on their YT channel, which are fine examples of their mellower side.

Is it any wonder why we love this band so much? I'm pretty sure this song was written in response to the thunderous audience response to pretty much every song in every show they did on the West coast - I went to the San Diego show and I've never experienced a show where the crowd was so loud I had to wear earplugs. It's just a back and forth love fest between the band and their fans, and it's a beautiful thing. It's almost overwhelming.

if you hadn't heard a song like this before, you should check out songs like About us, smile, Anemone or the whole Christmas acoustic live album etc. They are beautifully written.

This is mainly about their experience being able to tour again after the dark days of the pandemic. The love they feel from the fans, and their love they give back to us. There’s nothing they can’t do to a high level! This is not a first, though. Check out “About Us”, “Daydreaming”, “Wonderland”, and “Mirage”, as good examples of terrific slower, mid-tempo classics.

I was lucky to have seen them on the USA 10th Anniversery Tour in Houston Texas on May 14th 2023 they were awesome live ,with a 20 song performance absolutely talented each and everyone of them bravo ,and I will see them again in August in Chicago at Lalapalooosa festival cheers mate❤

For those of us who got to see them during their US tour, it hits us hard. I have never seen a band care more about their fans than they do. Ryan Mears said it best, it's one thing for a band to say Thank you to the fans, but it's another thing for a band to write, not one, but multiple songs for the fans to show their appreciation and love.

They have a couple other slower ballads like this one: "About Us" (Also a love note to the fans they released during COVID) and "Daydreaming". On top of that they did a Christmas special live stream show where they did a full acoustic set where they stripped back a bunch of their hits into beautiful reimagined compositions. (including some glorious backing vocals from Kanami and Akane) A hand full of those songs from the acoustic set are on their youtube and the rest of the set is on their Band-maid Prime website.

Love it!! Love the use of the acoustic guitar. Saiki and Miku are the best duet in music, great sound engineering so we hear both voices so well. I would love to know the process for creating the song. Miku and Kanami for sure, but Saiki very strongly for sure. They have no fear in regard to their music. It's THEIR music, avoiding the samo-samo to many bands fall into. HOW - pure talent on a high level and superb professionalism.

So glad to see you come back to BM. I always enjoy your reactions because of the enthusiasm and the genuine emotion which makes me smile. I have the privilege of seeing them on May 24th in Detroit. Front row balcony seats ( I'm too old to stand for 2 hrs lol) in a venue that only holds 1000 people. Lots of slower and mid-tempo BM songs to sample down the road. About Us, Smile and Wonderland ( all live) and Daydreaming MV for starters. Looking forward to your next BM reaction.

They have a whole acoustic concert. 14 songs performed online on 12/25/2021. They've released 2 officially on their KZfaq channel -- Catharsis and Sayonakidori. The whole thing is available at their Prime channel. They also have the acoustic version of their track Puzzle and Anemone, but I think the videos of those (live setting) are only available on the Chinese "youtube" site.

They have quite a few songs like this. This is a love song to their fans. Another two love songs for their fans are "About Us" and "Smile". And you should check out their acoustic stuff. On Xmas day 2021 they did a full acoustic live stream as a Xmas present.

Band-Maid has great songs in this ballad style, the problem is that most react video producers only watch the same mvs with the heavier and faster songs, listen to Anemone, Start Over and Smile, some only have an audio version without mvs.

I had the same reaction as you. I could not stop crying. There is another song called Page. This song is also a ballad, but it will make you cry! You can watch it on You Tube. Anyway, the guitar solo is great. I recommend you to see the live performance.

This is like the 10th reaction to this song I've watched today and the little niggling voice in the back of my head finally spit out what it's been turning over and over. This is Band-Maid's version of the Load Out - Stay a song by Jackson Browne. Listen to one of the good live versions of that, then listen to Memorable again and see if you hear the same thing I am. And my understanding is Kanami wrote this song while they were touring the US last year. She felt so overwhelmed by the emotions of the "Masters and Princesses" that she had to write something. And Saiki and Miku together wrote the lyrics. It is a love song for their fans saying that they felt us lift them up and they felt our love for them. And they love us in return.

They debuted the song at The Tokyo Garden concert. But this is nothing new as far as great ballads go. They are pretty sublime in everything they do. This song is almost a companion piece to About Us which was about the struggles through Covid and their love of their fans. Memorable is about the love of returning to a live audience.

I really enjoyed your reactions & comments on your Band Maid playlist. To really appreciate the group's artistry and diverse talents, you should check our their "unplugged" (acoustic) offerings. One that comes to mind is to compare the "Live" and "Acoustic" versions of SAYONAKIDORI . I think that experience will open your eyes...

You need to listen to "About Us" then. They wrote it during the heart of the pandemic as a paean to their fanbase and the lament of being unable to perform before them. Has a very similar feel to this.

theyre softer songs are amazing, however, if you want some recommendations for their faster, heavier songs, i recommend After-Life, Warning, Blackhole, Sayonakadori, and basically any song on their Album "Unseen World"

if you liked this have a look at "About us" which is described as a love letter to their fans during covid, i will include a translation of Saiki’s heartfelt monologue / speech before this song was performed Saiki: We were supposed to meet you today. For the first time in a year, we thought we could meet you all, those of you who could come to see us, but we can’t meet you in the end. I’m sorry. Even though it’s not my fault. We have been having days of turmoil for about a year. In the beginning, we were very surprised because we hadn’t experienced it before, and we had no experience of not being able to meet others in person. We were sad, but we found we shouldn’t be sad in this situation. When I saw you masters and princesses on social media, you were more depressed than us, and we thought that’s terrible. We Band-Maid have been thinking about how to cheer up all of you in the last one year. We truly wanted to meet you at Nippon Budokan, but it’s impossible because of COVID, so let’s wait for the day when we can meet. And in the last one year… or in the COVID pandemic, we have become more eager to cheer you up, and we Band-Maid realized again it’s important to give our songs to you. That’s why we wrote this song for Budokan. We made the album also in the pandemic, so it might have a little similar feel, but this song is planned for Nippon Budokan, and we really want to give it to you masters and princesses now. Budokan is not our goal but just a stepping stone. We will perform at bigger venues, and we promise we will bring you there and give you even better songs, so let’s keep it up a little more. Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 You know there is a flow in an actual concert : high and low, hot and cool, excitement and calmness. At Tokyo Garden Theater, "Memorable" was premiered after "About Us" . These two songs soothed the audience emotion (I was there 😍) ... and then brroom!! "Manners" 😲.
