Guys, if you haven't noticed, this song has Kanami basically doing solo riffs thoughout the song. No ear infection on this band. Do "Onset" live next time.

This one is still in my BAND-MAID top 5. Those harmonies. Saiki, the lead singer, had throat surgery for polyps some time ago. Fortunately totally successful. You could really hear how hoarse her voice was in interviews leading up to that. As folks have pointed out, if you're really thinking of ear issues, it's probably Re:No, the former vocalist for Aldious that you have in mind.
@VladimirChupin5 жыл бұрын
And it was not an infection: On November 28, Re:NO announced that she would be ending musical activities after consulting a doctor on her patulous Eustachian tube. She left Aldious after their December 17 concert at Tsutaya O-East.[32][33] en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aldious

This live version is breathtaking. Where is the time for Saiki to catch breath in this one? 😉. She's amazing. Lots of words and fast pace structures and timing sequences for her to do. Just overall greatness.

There is also an acoustic version of this song that I think you should check out. The feel of the acoustic version is very different from this one, a lot more emotional. I recommend you do it soon, while this is still fresh in your mind. At the very least, re-watch this video before reacting to the acoustic version so you can get a good comparison between the two. Here's the link: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/l7WZq81pvaucdas.html Note: The video I linked actually contains 2 songs. That's why it is 14 minutes long. Puzzle runs from the start to about the 7 minute mark. I leave it up to you whether or not you want to react to both songs or do just Puzzle and react to Anemone, the second song, at a later date. Love your reactions. Keep up the good work.

The singer Saiki had some throat issue. You can hear that in old interviews that her voice was always croaky. She has to undego a sugery but all went fine and now her voice is stronger than before.

Guys, there seems to be a delay where the audio is about 5 seconds ahead of the video. I've watched this video enough times to know. Possibly your video capture software is acting up. Just though you'd like to know.

Wearing in-ear monitor for long periods, especially in hot condition can lead to problems. Japanese dont tend to sweat so much, so at least girls have that on their side.

Love Band Maid. Just found out about them about 1 month ago. Scored tickets to their concert in NYC in Sept. You guys should do reactions to Leo from Frog Leap Studios. Super talented musician. Usually plays all the instruments. He does metal covers of popular songs. One of my favorites is Toto's Africa. If you do a reaction to it, stick around for the Outro. It's awesome as well. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/g65pedx92Myoqqs.html

The Sounds Sync was off. I hadn't heard about an ear infection. Saiki did have to have a throat operation that she had been putting off, but she fine now.
@bigbrutalbassbeer4105 жыл бұрын
Nope. However, about a year ago when they set out on their World Domination Tour, Saiki (main vocalist) was only 3-4 months post throat cancer surgery. Let me tell you, she came back early but more of a powerhouse than ever and with more range and control! I think she is to the mic what Akane is to drums.💪🏻🤘🏻

@realdocloco5 жыл бұрын
@@bigbrutalbassbeer410 luckily most vocal cord polyps are benign and require only surgery, especially in younger people whose cause is often misuse of the voice. In older people, it's often more serious, and caused by tobacco, alcool etc ...
@sacluvsBM5 жыл бұрын
@@bigbrutalbassbeer410 polyps are found throughout the Gl tract from throat to anus. They are removed as found during diagnostic upper and lower GI series. They are benign but a small percentage can be considered pre-cancerous. With a scope the polyp is sliced off and the spot is cauterized.

I believe it's the former lead singer of Aldious who had the issue with her ears. She had a Eustachian tube disorder that makes her voice echo inside her own ears whenever she speaks; sort of like the way your voice sounds when your ears are stopped up. She tried to treat it for a year before she had to quit singing because it was too difficult to perform at a high level dealing with that. There isn't a known cause or cure for the disorder. From what I can tell, she's completely dropped out of the public eye. She cut off her signature long blonde hair, died it chestnut, posted a few photos, then turned off all her social media accounts that were tied to the band.
